I just thought of this suggestion (but don't hate me I'm sorry)
Maybe we can make the breeding limit from 2 weeks to a month? (or something like that) So that others get a chance, artists don't have to rush and try to open quickly etc. But, hehe, just a suggestions xD

Like myk said, the artists who are official breeding artists open a lot and they already deal with quite a bit of demand. They open for a bunch of breedings at a time and it takes a lot of work to do what they do. I'm honestly surprised that they don't open less. Folk and Kita have a near constant to-do list when they have the time, so I don't think it's possible for them to open more. xD
This conversation has come up on the fanclubs before and has hurt the artists in the past, so I don't think we should be touching this again. ^^;

100% support. For those saying artists need to open more - put yourself in their shoes for once and stop thinking about just yourself ^^
(I am sorry if that is bitter... but these are adoptables, people have... lives. like, actually outside of the internet world...)

@ Bella.: Preach. As the old argument goes, these are pixels, not blood transfusions, food, or something else necessary to life. While it is absolutely fantastic we have multiple artists that are willing to do breedings in addition to adoptables, this should not be taken for granted. They're only human, as are we.
I am no longer on CS.
Please don't PM me about trades, Khims, WMEs, or any other business.

The artists are allowed to open breedings when they feel comfortable doing so, some of them are busy and don't have the time to open up often. Pressuring them with a schedule would make their jobs less fun and more stressful. They do make equids for fun, not because they have to afterall.
Things are running fine as they are, if changes are needed they'll be talked over between all the staff members and approved by Horsy. But for now, we should change the subject.

This subject's been hashed and rehashed - it just ends up heated and hurtful. So please, drop it completely. ^^; I don't want anyone getting hurt or in trouble again over this.

I'm so tempted by Folk's Challenger, even though I promised myself no more adoption art contests (and I've already broken that promise on Kita's gorgeous sabino girl). I already have a great idea, but... ugh. ;n; -shakes fist at sky-

I don't like art contests... Just no. My art isn't that great, even when I can get to a new computer.
I like naming contests though, and it is still pretty easy to try and stay detached if I don't win, thank god.
That said, I usually don't try for Equids at all. I struggle to get that special connection to them, soo just prefer to watch from afar and get breedings instead.

I like the scavenger hunts a lot, really love anything to do with songs.
I kinda like art contests but I know there are many many people here who are much much better than me so I get intimidated quite often, and can usually peg the winner before it's ever judged.
On the other hand I hate with a passion the poetry ones, I am admittedly horrid, and I mean down right bad at poetry!!
And I'm not a huge fan of writing, but that's only because I used to rp all the time like 6-7yrs ago, and I was mad good, I mean 6 to 8 full monster paragraphs. Well the site I adored, the server crashed and we lost everything for years and by the time we were able to find it again many of us had moved on. So ever since then my writing muse has been fickle and easily put off. So when I do write about an adopt I open my heart completely to it and it hurts more than any to lose. Then I have a story I can never get out.

On another note! I have opened a pretty much herd wide slot comp for my quids!!! so for those that voted on my polls here you go!!
