I can help you with the first question, but I'm not sure how to answer the latter. yes, you are correct, her name does eventually change to brightheart, but not until firestar becomes leader. bluestar names brightpaw, lostface, because of her quickly declining mental health. that's all I can help with though due to the fact it's been like three years since I've read the first series.

bluestar's a bit of a jerk in that book.

True, I don't really like Bluestar in A Dangerous Path. She's all moody and snaps at Fireheart for no reason, and calls her clan a bunch of traitors. She didn't really care about ThunderClan there, and just let Fireheart take over. And it's all Starclan's fault apparently! SPOILERS:
It's not Starclan's fault that they had a fire, a hawk steal Snowkit and a dog raid. It's bad luck!

Don't lose hope on her, though. She sort of redeems herself after this tragic outburst.

okay, so i finally got the forgotten warrior after two weeks why barnes&noble, why you make me wait so long nnngh
i was reading chapter one, but its all fun and games until i reached this part:
*spoilers belowww*
okay i was reading this part where Molekit and Cherrykit hurl themselves at their daddy, and Berrynose is all like "Whoa there" and then this happens-
he recovered his balance and swept his tail around the two kits.
i'm like "Wait really?" Basically, Berrynose literally had his tail cut off by a fox trap, leaving a lil' tail nub on his rump, and he just comes along and wraps his nub tail around his kits?

I do like Bluestar in all the books, because she shows that even the best of us can become flawed. No she wasn't nice, but she went through I'd say more than most of the others in her lifetime, from Thistleclaw to giving up her kits to losing Mosskit and her sister and seeing, several times, her clan almost destroyed by cats she loved or cats she hated. It must have seemed like StarClan hated her. Plus she has that "water can quench fire" prophecy stuck in her head so she wpfeared destruction for her clan and it sort of broke her for a bit. I still love her, she'll always be my favorite character. <3 :3

My thoughts perfectly. I agree! I feel so sorry for Bluestar, no wonder she was so stressed.

I know that Bluestar dies. I don't really care if I know how, because that just makes me love Bluestar even more. The fact she saved her deputy, Fireheart, is really caring.
