Finally got my guitar back, after waiting for it to get repaired for months.
It's good to get to play again, but gosh, I've forgotten so much in only a month.
I'm much slower now, and I can't remember how to play "Seek And Destroy"
by Metallica anymore. I used to know that song note for note. Well, nothing
else to do than start learning it again cx

I haven't played my guitar in just over a week now, I miss the poor thing :c I'll get to play it again tomorrow though, so I'm happy. I'm gonna try and learn Creeping Death, and maybe try and get better at Chop Suey!, B.Y.O.B. and Innervision. And I might learn the rest of Mr Jack.

I got 60 days free premium spotify for some reason, so I got the thing and it is pretty awesome
But Mezmerize has gone AWOL. What do? D:

I can't remember if I posted a picture of my new guitar here. Did I? I don't think I did.

Cool! I plan on taking bass lessons over the fall. If I like it enough, which I probably will, I'll be wanting the songbooks right off the Disturbed online store to learn some of the Disturbed songs.

Just had a quick look, I didn't post a picture of my new guitar. No idea why I didn't, I got it a month ago.



Cost me £375, the guy I got it from built it with real strat parts apart from the pickups. It has customised pickups, they're humbuckers but they've been made to fit a strat. The body was limited edition, and every one made was different. I'm really happy with it, just need to get a strap and a better amp xD
Someone at my school said it reminded them of Eddie Van Halen's guitar. :p

Also, Swedish Pagans by Sabaton is such a great song.

Just got back from a week in Cornwall (plus four days of traveling... ten hours in the car from Blackpool to Perranporth because of roadworks and congestion on the motorway!) and a day in Blackpool. On the boat home my mum's boyfriend said that if I got a record player I could have some old Metallica records he's got, and he said he has a Creeping Death single one that must be about thirty odd years old. I might ask for a record player for Christmas if I don't buy one first! :D

I was hoping to get to an HMV or something when I was away because the last one I went to had all manner of band t shirts, but I didn't get to go to one, sadly. I'll just have to get t shirts online and go with what I can find in the music shop down the street :/ I just hope they have Avenged Sevenfold or Scars On Broadway's self titled albums, because I definitely did not become addicted to them on holiday xD

The holiday park place we went to had a Guitar Hero arcade game... I spent about £10 on that machine in about an hour spread over a few days xD It had some cool songs on it, like Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Almost Easy by A7X and No More Sorrow by Linkin Park. It also had the option to play as Slash and Tom Morello, which was pretty cool c: I got the top three scores on Expert mode on Paranoid and the top score on Almost Easy on Hard mode, but I guess it wasn't much of an achievement because everyone else who'd played it had got in the 30,000-40,000 score range and I ended up getting about 3x or 4x the score of the previous first on the leaderboard that wasn't me... haha

I tried Almost Easy in Expert, but I mucked up the solo in the middle and failed. I got about three quarters of the way through it. I just fished another pound out of my wallet as fast as I could and put it in the machine xD

I realize I'm a bit slow with the picture posting cx but better late than
never? Anyway, this here is my baby. An 100% authentic Fender
Stratocaster, limited edition Swirl HSS. My dad bought it from
a guitar dealer in the US, and it was shipped all the way over
the Atlantic ocean to here where I live. it's a very beautiful guitar,
and gosh, the sound is so beautiful.
