For me, it's mainly colors, art quality, and patterns.

Colors and Patterns. It has to seem cohesive somehow :3 I love black, white, greys, and then a color (red, blue, green, etc.) as a combination especially. And unnatural designs, even for natural base I like unnatural design added in (liek my fursona XD). Even if it's completely neon pinks and greens, as long as the pattern makes it work, I may be drawn to it. And in this way, it has to very well-designed. Art quality matters to me, but more like a first impression ^^

This may be a bit off-topic, but CS has lots of animals and anthros, so I actually want to see more human characters at TaN ^^

I picked color, pattern, and whatever hits me.

Color: I usually tend to gravitate towards browns, tans, grayish-blues, and especially grays. <3

Pattern: I have a swirl and spot addiction. ;-;

Whatever hits me: The first to don't really matter compared to this one. I have to feel like I really want the character, not just think it's beautiful. I actualy did that a few times, adopting a character I didn't really have a connection with. Thus, I gave Ara back. C:

Color :: The colors oh so matter to me. If you have some odd green and purple thing that somehow got accepted, the colors do not fit me, so I wouldn't go for it. Now neutrals I love. <3

Pattern :: Any foliage pattern normally snatches my heart away, as does blotches that overlap. Bland patterns I love, too. I don't like all overdone characters. I pity them, I really do. T-T

Whatever hits me :: In my sense, I think it means what ever character hits you in your soul. You mst be capable of feeling them there, and allowing them to do so. Their personality must be a torn piece of your clay molded how you desire. You do not simply throw them on the ground into a blob! A blob would not fit with the figure of you. Give up on them, you're giving up on yourself.

I'm annoyed now. xD I didn't get a chance to write the majority of my form... I thought I had more time than I did... Unfortuneatly there was at least one other person that wanted the same character as me so... There goes my chances. Oh well. Maybe I'll see another character I like next time?

I picked color, the artist, and the species.

Color: I really like to adopt natural looking. I normally adopt dogs, horses, or exotic animal (My okapi Ozzy XD)

Species: I really love horses and natural looking animals. I'm normally not attracted to new species except for Smilis because they're adorable, yet fierce.

Artist: I really like the works of most artists, although they do have designs I do not like. I should have chosen "Whatever catches my eye C:

TAN suggestion:

Perhaps put the date/time the round ends on the front page? That way, first off, people aren't getting disappointed because they found the thread right after the round ended, and, though they really connected with Character X and spent all night and half of the day planning a form, they can't go for it, and, second, they aren't spamming the place by asking how much time is left/when's the next CD/Blahdyblahdyblah. It'd be a little extra work, and it'd be something else to clutter the first post, but... yeah.

I'm usually not nervous until the very last second. Only when Atwood posts that the forms are finished, and we're waiting on Wendigo to post the winners do I get jittery.

Question: Whatever I feel like going for. If I have a story idea that I think will work and I really like the design of the character I'll go for them. That's pretty much it. ^^
