what is the personality of your clan leader like? have they always been this way, or did something in their life occur to change them? if so, what was it and why?

In Echoclan, Raggedstar is very frazzled and loses his temper a lot. He wasn't like this at all before he became leader, it was something that slowly developed after his mother, Brightclover, was murdered. This personality sort of accelerated once he became deputy and then leader within a short amount of time. Then his father and one of his kits died, so he's basically losing his mind.

In Steamclan, Roachtrack is very charming and secretive and very impulsive. He's always been this way, but started to become even more secretive after he was chased out of the alley cat group he was born in.

would your clan's deputy make a good leader? why or why not? do the other cats in your clan think the same as you?

In Echoclan, Gorsebird would definitely make a good leader. She's very strong-willed and protective of those she loves. It's very hard to steer her away from certain things, but that is what makes a lot of her clanmates think she will be a good leader. Some of them think she's a bit young to be the deputy and think she'll go down the same path that Raggedstar did.

Steamclan doesn't have a deputy yet.

why did your clan's medicine cat become the medicine cat? was it due to an injury or sickness, or did their passion burn bright from a young age? do they take delight in their job?

Brindlecloud became the medicine cat in Echoclan because she was sent a dream by Starclan that she was needed in Echoclan, since they knew that Ramhorn would eventually leave since he had a mate who was having kits. They knew that Ramhorn was the kind of tom who wouldn't leave his mate and kits alone so they sent Brindlecloud to take his place. Now, Crowcloud was too skittish and antsy to be a warrior, and doing methodically things like taking care of injuries calms him down.

what plotlines from other clans do you actively follow and why? do you have a favorite among them?

I actively follow all of the plot lines for the clans that I do mod replies for, but I also follow The Kingdom, Graveclan, Roseclan and Wiltedclan. I look at everyone else's posts but these ones are the ones that I usually read all of the way through. I read through the ones that I reply to since I want to know what's happening before I throw anything in so that I don't ruin their plots too much. And I read the others just because I love how they write! Out of all of the Clans I read, I think Groveclan, Mallowclan and Graveclan are my favorites at the moment.

who is your favorite cat, personality-wise, from another clan? why?

Lionheart from Groveclan! She's such a strong character and I'm so interested in seeing where Solyn takes her.

Serpenttongue from Wiltedclan. I just love her coloring so much

neith is cold, closed off and sly. she has always been a bit of a quiet brooding type, but before her family died she was much more expressive. now she’s a brutal babe who’s ready to kill and i love her

gwyndion became a medicine cat because after she left her owners she realized how hard it is to survive being a hairless cat in the constantly rainy city. she learned about a few basic things at first, but became quite interested and became a shaman. gwyndion likes her job, just not the patients at times.

a few clans that i actively read and follow would be graveclan, steamclan, kingdom of shattered bones, groveclan, wiltedclan and goldclan. I don’t have a favourite among them though.

  badgerstar is a pretty excitable young dude! he's really naturally curious and friendly, really eager to please and can become easily upset if he feels like he's disappointed/let-down someone, or if he feels like he's hurt his feelings. he's an extreme extrovert and his worst fear is dying alone, he's extremely family-oriented (he considers his clan his family but he's excited to be a father to his own kits!!) and quite loud and boisterous. he's extremely loyal and he tends to be quite humorous as well!
  
  as for what made him like that? he's always been pretty optimistic and outgoing by nature, however his loyalty & devotion to the idea of family are from growing up on his own. he doesn't remember anything before he was 6 moons old, and even then that's only a rough estimate based on his appearance from other cats who didn't know him. he actually doesn't know if he HAS any family at all which is why he's so insistent on making his own since he historically has been lonely all his life. as he gets older i'm planning for him to settle down a little, but he's always going to be a cheerful little man and i love him,,,,
• would your clan's deputy make a good leader? why or why not? do the other cats in your clan think the same as you?
  
  GWJSGSHSHS YEAH SHE WOULD, honestly in terms of like? EVERYTHING? lionheart would 110% make a better leader than badgerstar, but the dynamic of the clan just wouldn't be the same. lionheart is clan-born, so she was brought up with the warrior code and she's very loyal to it. she's headstrong, decisive, and while her clanmates tease her for being "bossy", they appreciate that she's incredibly organized and makes sure that things run smoothly. she's a bit more grounded than badgerstar to counteract his over-zealousness. she's practical and she cares about her clanmates and can always be counted on to put them before herself. her clanmates believe lionheart would make a great leader, although most are sure she won't ever ascend to that rank since she's quite a bit older than badgerstar, and it's unlikely he would die before she retires.
• why did your clan's medicine cat become the medicine cat? was it due to an injury or sickness, or did their passion burn bright from a young age? do they take delight in their job?
  
  in her first clan, goldleaf decided to become medicine cat just because she wanted to! she saw one of her mother's denmates go through a complicated birth and saw how the medicine cat helped her, and she decided that that's what she wanted to do. warrior duties were all very well and good, but being a medicine cat challenges her a lot more than that does. she's a really intellectual cat so constantly having these problems to solve is really the best part of the job for her! plus she's like, rlly not interested in romance AT ALL so being med cat kind of gets rid of that problem for her (and ngl that birth kind of traumatized her as a kit so she's been terrified of having kits ever since, which is why she and lionheart get really close after lionheart reveals that she almost died kitting in her old clan) bUT yeah long answer short goldleaf is really just passionate about her job wgsjshs.
• what plotlines from other clans do you actively follow and why? do you have a favorite among them?
  
  at the moment i'm only following echoclan, steamclan and the kingdom of shattered bones, mostly because i joined too late to be caught up with some of the bigger clans, although i would like to! kingdom has a really interesting plot, echoclan has super compelling characters plus they both border groveclan and i like to know what they're up to these days! steamclan has a rlly rlly cool concept that i helped develop /humble-brag and i'm very excited to see where it goes! i tend to skim-read most posts that are posted as well but those two are the ones i pay super attention to! i'm also starting to get into wiltedclan, although not a lot has been posted yet so i don't have much to say about it for now i won't pick favourites because they're both really good but HERES SOME LOVE FOR KAT AND VIV:
  
  > viv's writing for the kingdom is SUUUUPER good. it really evokes strong emotions and gives the tone of the place a lot of depth, plus i absolutely LOVE the location that they picked out for the kingdom. we've done some good plotting and i'm excited to see it get underway c; PLUS i really enjoy how different the cats in the kingdom are from other cats in other clans! overall it's just so good and it makes me big heart eyes whenever i see them post
  
  > kat's writing for echoclan has been a favourite ever since i started! she has a real talent of making every single one of her characters compelling, and i always feel an ache in my chest whenever one of them is lost or gets hurt. the most recent post bROKE ME HOW DARE YOU. i got caught up with squirrelstar's death when helping with the echoclan archives and i was sniffling alone in my room at like 8 pm hsjkshsj. echoclan is never boring and sometimes i wish kat would stop torturing her cats but they're... so good.... as for steamclan? she really put a lot of thought into keeping a clan similar enough to warrior canon but diverse enough to be so interestingly unique and i am SO excited to see what she does with all the possibilities laid out!

  SSSSSSSOLID tossup between beestripe from echoclan and erasmus from the kingdom. beestripe is one of my favourites because she was the first friend lionheart ever made, and that was no mistake because beestripe is the exact archetype of cat that i love! she's got a good, warm heart underneath a prickly exterior and that makes me so fond of her... i also think it's really interesting to consider how she grew up in her grandma's shadow and i'm really excited to see what she's like as a mother! i know that beestripe & lionheart, those cranky old mollies, are going to be eternal friends & i'm glad for that! as for erasmus? i love him because he's just so... evil in such a sinister and sly way! i honestly think villains that can't be easily detected are the best kind and i really enjoy how he's subtly manipulating dante atm, gives me real othello-esque vibes. really glad viv has confirmed we get to see more of him in the future, i'm excited to see the full range of his EVIL potential c;

Venomstar likes to see himself as the one in charge of absolutely everything, but when it comes down to kits even he has to admit he's absolutely clueless. He doesn't see himself falling in love at any point, but the Regent of Young (Scale of Snow) seems to think otherwise, and is trying to subtly pair him with Petalmist.

Heronstar is very traditional in a lot of senses, strongly believing that pacifism is the only reasonable route for a clan if they want their kits to grow up safely. She has a thick Scottish accent, but it's worth noting when I do my posts that I only tend to write accents if they're seen as unusual to the rest of the clan, or to the cat who's current PoV it is. I think her accent's never really been shown due to writing from her perspective so much as well as the others all being used to it by now, and her children having all got it too, and that making a decent proportion of the clan...
Heronstar tends to talk pretty formally, and she doesn't like rushing to conclusions at all. She's meant to act a little irritatingly slowly to some cats (think how Snow White moves in the Disney film - like that. Just a little too slow).

You could definitely say something changed her... Heronstar has a grey prefix when she is a not-grey point cat, and she's a, well, she's a point cat, so she should have a white prefix. And yep, that makes sense, when you consider she came from a non-traditional clan, where she had a sister, Betonycloud. Their clan was destroyed through a combination of wars and natural disaster, and she, Betonycloud, and one of Betonycloud's young kits, Saxifragekit, were the only ones to make it out of camp, and that was after they received aid due to their ranks. Heronstar lost her litter. Saxifragekit died soon after, and Betonycloud after that. Heronstar hated how her name caused confusion and decided not to carry that forward, and believed that the war-mongering nature of her birth clan led to the death of her whole family.

Chubtail would. He's more aggressive than Heronstar, but almost everyone is. He's also, somehow, more old fashioned (I promise there's a good reason!). He takes a similarly cautious route in most things as Heronstar does, but he's willing to go to greater lengths to look at information intentionally, and he's more willing to ask for advice for things where he feels he only has some of the information available.
The majority would agree. Tymestl might not.

Harrierpelt was a kittypet, a showcat, and was not allowed to engage in rough and tumble. I've not clarified whether he was declawed or not, but I have done my best to never refer to him having claws, and I like that being ambiguous, even as a minor thing. Harry, as he was known then, met a patrol near his kittypet home - who misheard his name - and after a few meetings, he was persuaded to join them. He was absolutely abysmal at fighting training, but there was a demand for another medicine cat apprentice, so he took that up. He had just finished training when the previous leader died. The new leader coming to power misunderstood the code entirely, and decided to execute all those who had had to make the choice to reject the life of a kittypet, Harrierpelt included. Harrierpelt was helped out by his mentor and escaped, and came to Gustclan just a few moons later.

Teasel-leaf is the son of Harrierpelt, and, to an extent, the same genes that make Harrierpelt skilled run in Teasel-leaf. But, further... Heronstar had been hoping there might be some suitable candidates for mca around the time he was born, and had said that she might even give permission for Harrierpelt to have offspring if it meant there might be a new mca around. Perhaps they overdid the search, or perhaps they meddled with fate, but both Teaselkit and Zinniakit were born with a strong desire to learn about medicine, and spent their whole kithoods fighting it out for who got to be mca, and he won out in his ability to keep patients' spirits up. Teasel-leaf recently started refusing to help teach her at all in how to be a medicine cat though, and is refusing to tell the clan why...

Gannetpaw... is not mca yet but we all knew he would be from inheriting his dad's herb power without inheriting the probably dying bit. When Adonis' first litter - with Softdawn of Seaclan - was born, Winter and I discussed their personalities in light of fitting with their powers (For Gullpaw this means being deathly afraid of mice, and he'll go into a rampage if he sees one, which might end up with him killing lots of prey, or it might end with him having a heart attack from the adrenaline). Gannetpaw is very easily distracted by plants, and loves interacting with them... mostly to make himself smell nice, but at least he'll be able to pay attention properly to learn that.

Like all the mods I try to read all the posts for my clans! Very occasionally I won't manage it, but that's normally because I'm rushing to get replies done at all or my internet keeps dying and I just have to manage something, but I do try my best to catch up when that happens!
I also tend to end up reading random individual posts from quite a few clans, especially when doing sub-replies, as I want a bit more context usually than just single posts.
And then there's clans where I try to read them otherwise and I am awful at keeping up, like Echoclan and Forestclan

who is your favorite cat, personality-wise, from another clan? why?

Hm.
I'd say four way tie, probably, at the moment, although I do get fond for all of those I read of regularly. I'd probably say Cannastar of Goldclan, Neith of the Arcane, and then (because of their adorable-ness together) Cindertail and Rabbitspark of Bearclan.

I genuinely don't know. I don't tend to pay too much attention to most clans' pictures, but then I only ever give pictures when doing replies where I kind of want to just claim the cat for my clan... Which rather makes the competition among those I do know a lot harder.

• Jerboastar has and always will be a jerk. He's self-righteous, smug, vain and judgemental. The gods choosing him to lead Eanakhclan may have helped increase these traits but he's always been a little know it all brat.

• As of now Eanakh doesn't have a deputy but they will be receiving Genetstorm soon and when they do, please pray for them all. Genetstorm would make an awful leader but no one said Jerboastar was good at it either.

• Mambaheart became an Anubis because of his fascination with death as opposed to healing. Having the ability to recognize deadly berries and leaves is what drew him in... Anubis may have played a key part in that as well. Mambaheart doesn't exactly enjoy healing, he finds it to be more of an aggravating task and waste of time.

• Welllll. Phina's Isles are very interesting and fun and Welksoul is adorable. Hazil's Clayclan is amazing and unique and so beautifully written. vi's Kingdom I've just started and they're so fun! Sorry guys but Clayclan wins for me. I love everything about them.

• oh my gosh, Resinstar takes the cake. So playful and nonchalant he's hard to not love. I also absolutely adore vi's Predator. Such a sweetheart.

• well, I love Wilted's Swandust for obvious reasons but also a secret someone bel will hopefully get to show off soon. I think Predator is adorable. Ragdolls and pointed kitties are my weakness.

wiltedclan's meadowstar is soft-hearted, loyal, and brazen. she doesn't like being advised, and dislikes half-clan cats and relationships. she scorns all half-clan cats and thinks their very existence is an insult to starclan. her parents own forbidden relationship caused the downfall of her clan, and their untimely deaths.

azgeda's blodreina is cold-hearted and closed off- she believes strongly in the power of loyalty and devotion, and despises any cat who cuts corners, lies, or cheats their way through life. she doesn't believe in love, and only mates based on the other cat's strength. love destroyed both her mothers- ontari died of a broken heart, and luna became cold due to losing her mate.

wiltedclan does not have a clan deputy, yet.

azgeda does not have deputies, rather heirs, and thaumas, thalassa, triton, tethys were just born so they do not yet have personalities.

from wiltedclan, honeytail was called by starclan to be a healer, and due to never having much luck in the realm of hunting or fighting, he knew he better served his purpose as a medicine cat.

azgeda's healer niylah became a healer because her mate was constantly getting hurt and she wanted to provide and take care of her battle worn mate, skairipa. she has always been a peaceful soul, and takes the upmost pleasure in caring for her clanmates.

i follow echoclan & steamclan, pineclan, & swiftclan & graveclan as well as eanakhclan. i don't pick favorites !!

honestly, i just adore avocadokit of graveclan; she's so energetic and spicy and the result of a forbidden relationship, one that i will always cherish.

Garlicstar has certainly gone from being certain and generally cheerful in her warrior days to being rather cautious and meek. This is a result of watching Fritilliarystar's downfall at the claws of Swanstar; However, Garlicstar has always remained as kind and peaceful as she always was. It is Fritillarystar that changed the most, a formerly proud and cunning molly who believed that greatness was at hand for MoorClan. However Sagestar's meddling, betrayal and Swanstar had defeated Fritillarystar and she slowly became disilliusionized and believed that she was no better than Swanstar, having killed cats and maimed them too.

would your clan's deputy make a good leader? why or why not? do the other cats in your clan think the same as you?

Briarcloud is a very calm and considerate cat, and it is certain he would be a good leader. However, he is easily swayed by his love for Bramblefur, which means that Briarcloud may find it difficult to execute justice where it must be executed; his sympathetic nature may get in the way of his duties and a few believe that while Briarcloud is a good cat, he may not be a good leader; Yarrowshine, Elmstorm and Fallowthorn among them.

Smallwhisker had always wanted to be a medicine cat, fancying her brains would be better used for herbs than for bloodshed. Mentored by Stonenose, Smallwhisker was always a quick learner and even compared to the other healers, she's one of the most skilful, although her joy had long since rotted in the days of TumbleClan. Her fellow medicine cat, Trouttail, more than makes up for the joy and optimism, full of a boundless energy whereas Firepool is a medicine cat solely because she feels her nerves would shatter on the battleground. Larchpelt was once a warrior, but turned away from the battlefield for reasons unspoken.

I try to follow EchoClan and ForestClan where I can! I also follow RedClan and CharClan, as well as EneahkClan!
I don't have a particular favourite but I do love ForestClan; it's so detailed and long.

Probably Dustleaf and Crowstorm!
