Any thing you like to say?: "It's not the breed that makes the dog mean, it is the owner!" So verry true, many cases like this end up with a dead dog in my neighberhood...

A sad storry:

A few decades ago, there was a guy who had a german shepard dog. one day he went on vacation and left his dog alone, every day his freind gave the dog food, but he only stayed there for 5 minuts. The dog became mean and defende the yard with its life.

Then one day , while the man was still on vacation, a boy was passing by from school, he stopped to pett the dog, he jumped the fence and the dog killed him. Then the boy's father came back and killed the dog. True storry.

The people made a lot of mistakes here.
First nevre leave a dog al alone like that, they go nuts.
Two, dont go petting dogs in their yard, they will defend it, not like this dpog, but they wont be happy, some dogs might be happy, but you sholdnt risk it.
And lastly, the dad should have sued the dogs owner, it was his fault, not the dogs.

Any thing you like to say?: I just got a Newfie they're not really used for dog fights but might be since they're strong. My neighbor had an abused pit bull from dog fights and I don't think it's fair. It was one of the sweetest dogs I knew. It had problems with ropes which scared it and made it aggressive.

Any thing you like to say?: i watch animal planet and animal cops houston. they always bust wide open these operations with everthing they use to 'train' them. animal abuse is alway the first sign of a killer. would we do this to children who don't know any better? that almost what dogs are like children we need to protect because they know no different. oh and halo mainiac: i love your pitbull. she is so cute =3

What you think about Dog fighting/abuse:It makes no sense as to why you should abuse a dog or force it to fight.Those who pay money to watch dog fights get nothing from them.Those who make them fight get money.But isnt there a better way?Mabey they should get jobs. Dogs have feeling and feel pain just as we do.They are flesh and blood like those who beat them.

I recently discovered some intresting facts:there are more pit-bulls in the United States of America [where I live] than any other breed of dog.More pitbulls mean higher amounts of agressive ones.Pit-bulls have the SAME agressive percentage[amount of dogs that are aggresive compared to there total populace] as any other breed of dogs.
