Your favorite book and/or author: The Shadowhunter series, Cassandra Clare
Why is this your favorite?: It’s probably because it’s the first “non-childish” urban fantasy/young adult book I’ve ever read, amongst other things, I really adore Cassandra’s writing style and the way she describes the character’s surroundings/atmosphere.
What genres do you like? sci-fi/urban fantasy, young adult
Fun fact about you: I’ve actually got a mild phobia of elevator doors aha,,, it’s more of a natural reflex to not getting squished but I’d always put out a hand before entering:’)
Anything else?: a whole ant nest nested amongst my pile of childhood books so now I have no choice but to chuck them all away:’))) I will never forget the smell and the look of those ant eggs piled beneath the papers, talk about entomophobia hhhhh.

sorry for all the delay from my side recently, i have just gone back to school so i'm trying to readjust! hope everyone's summer is going well so far. i'm almost finished with circe. anyone reading any good fantasys lately?

It's fine! Sucks that you have school during summer though. I start college in fall.
Surprisingly, I haven't been reading Fantasy lately, despite the fact that it's my favorite genre. I'm just desperately waiting for the release of The Winds of Winter at the moment, and have been for awhile, but who knows when that will be out. I think the release date teasing from GRRM has me straying away from Fantasy lately though.

I also just looked up Circe, it sounds pretty good. I'm a huge fan of Greek mythology~

heyo! a quick suggestion: a sci-fi series that doesn't have a series name, but the first book is called linked, and the second is called unravel, and they're by imogen howson! I really like them, except for how obtuse the main character can be at times.. anyways, if you can find the time, go ahead and read them! if you have already, let me know how you like them

Each book is from a different dragon's POV but all surrounds (similar?) plots and characters.

Its basically a bunch of dragons but their all from different clans, such as sandwings, skywings, nightwings etc.

Anyway its pretty good, sorry I'm horrible at explaining hah
