You can see it here!Don't have much else to say, so I'll fill out the meme thing I guess. Since it's mostly about character development and I only have one kalon, I'm going to answer it more of as with general characters rather than specific to the kalon species.
How did you come up with your kalon's name(s)?I look at baby name's websites! That sounds kinda weird but it's my go-to way of finding names for any characters. However, the kalon I have is actually named differently-- I thought Minuetto (a name of a very, very specific type of music and dance) would make a cool name so that's his full name, but since it's a bit long I wanted to give him a short nickname so I went with Minnow as a shorter version.
Are aspects of your kalon's personality similar to yours? Do you have a kalon based off of yourself?Yeah, a little bit. I think it's normal to project some of yourself onto your characters. However my kalon isn't really the same personality as me-- some of my flaws and some traits I aspire to be like are projected onto him, but it doesn't totally make up his personality.
What is your favorite way to develop your kalon(s)?Writing it out! If you just write out your kalon's personality in long paragraphs it gives you a much cleaner idea of what your character is like. Making lists of traits and short descriptions just doesn't work and makes it seem more of just, well, a list rather than an actual person. Another thing I do is try to think-- how would my kalon react to being sad? How do they deal with being angry, sad, scared, etc? Although it seems pretty specific it really helps you get a grasp on what kind of person your character is. For instance, some people project their anger on other people instead of themselves, and not only does it tell you how they deal with being angry, but it gives you a good idea of whether your kalon is assertive, passive, etc.

Is there a personality trait or quirk that a lot of your kalons have?Seeing as I only have one, nope! Even among my other characters, there's no one shared trait/quirk.
Do your kals ever want children [ic breeding]? If so, how many?Minnow's only a little innocent kid!! He's not even thinking about dating, let alone kids!
