May I ask what was wrong with my form? I'm thinking it was because I made her a pet without asking first, but I would like to know if it was something else.

Why do you want this Goennec?:
She is very lovely and I think her colors and markings are great; she is simple but not bland and I love the way the bows compliment her.

How would you use this character?:
I would draw her, include her in my stories about my herd, and add her to my character thread.

Define your Goennec:
Goennec in a Sentence: Paisley is a faithful Goennec who dreams big but has simple desires.
Likes: Eating clovers and berries; watching butterflies; running around with the other animals on the farm; watching her humans tend the gardens; being petted, and being visited by the wild Goennecs in the area.
Dislikes: The turkeys, chickens, and geese.
Personality: Paisley can often be seen playing with the sheep, goats, ponies, and other Goennecs that live on and near the farm that she calls home. Friendly and loyal, she is always eager to make new friends. Her humans allow her to roam freely around the property and even let her sleep in the house although she prefers to be outdoors and will frequently stay outside if the weather is nice. Paisley often wonders what her life would be like if she didn’t live on the farm and takes every opportunity she can to hear stories from the wild Goennecs that come and graze near the edge of the meadow. But despite her curiosity and the other Goennecs’ invitations, she makes a point not to stray outside the outer fences having made the decision long ago to cherish her home, humans, friends, and family. Her humans will sometimes enter Paisley in the animal shows at the local fair; she enjoys it very much and even won a blue ribbon once, but she likes the competition more than the prizes and takes the time to talk to the other animals on the fairgrounds about the lives they lead. During planting and harvesting times she will follow her humans around to watch them tend to the plants and snatch up any fruits or berries that miss the baskets. In the winter she spends most of her time indoors where she can keep warm, but she does enjoy playing in the snow and helping the human kids make snowmen or wage snowball fights by rolling up little balls of snow for them or throwing up snow with her hooves. She also loves it when the kids make snow forts and igloos and she can play in. She watches out for her humans’ kids making sure that no harm comes to them, she’ll even fight off stray dogs who show some aggression toward them. She longs to have kids of her own though and thinks regularly about what they might be like.

Most of the time it is not as much as what was wrong with your form, but that the other conveyed the personnality of the Goennec better than you.

Yes, I know, but no one won that Goennec which means that both forms had something wrong with them.

That fact that you decided to make her a pet is really of no consequence and does not need permission, as it is really simply another status for them. As long as it is a credible pet scenario and still fits the standards of the species with twists for domestication, it is more than alright. The problem with this particular pen was that unfortunately neither form was valid, as was the very unfortunate case of so many of the goennecs this round. While I am not the type to think longer = better, and I have been very much a fan of quite a few short forms, these need to be properly constructed and give out a proper character essence. Your form felt more like a plotless short story as opposed to a character description, and unfortunately, it left the character bland and without a solid foothold so to speak. LM's form was unfortunately disqualified due to the fact that she did give it a condition that needed permission due to the massive influx of disabling or negative conditions given for the sake of being given to goennecs lately. When turned to yours, however, neither of us felt like the character could be properly grasped.

As a note, there was a time skip on the rp and the herd is currently moving out of the valley and is reaching the mountains. I know that people were being very active when there was the harems being chosen situation, but please remember that the Siv has not even started yet, so if nobody responds there may not be a Siv for babies to be born. ;3
