I am going to leave this here one more time for the mares and then I will change it. Please go vote on my
Poll.
For everyone who voted for a certain slot(if you want one from the stallions also, you will vote later), do you guys have time to put the effort into a slot comp if I were to hold one for certain quids that were voted for? please pm me if you do/don't have time and how long it should be if you want to be involved. I don't want to hold on and not have any interest in it.

Hey guys!
Just wanted to drop in and mention that my roan equid mare
Calypso has a slot open for roanless players only. I would like to see some art for the slot as well as the stallion you have in mind (must be a roan, obviously!) Just PM me if you are interested and what you would be willing to do for the slot

This might kill a lot of hearts...
I just wanted to pop in and let you guys know that my WME Tyme is not a roan. she was supposed to be a grulla/grullo- whichever. I was a poor designer, I know. But just to let everyone know that Tyme and none of her foals are actually roan. I apologize for the confusion.
I just thought I would post this publicly because I have gotton PM's asking for her official color.

I thought that I remembered horsy saying that if the equid appeared or was classified as a roan from before the breeding rule introduction that they were technically a roan, even if they didn't have 2 roan parents cause there was quite a bit of mix up around that time?
I would probably message horsy and just get the yay or nay on if your equid is a roan should you be concerned if they were from before approximately Jan. 2014. I know that there are some equids that have been recently (since Jan 2014) confirmed to be grullo, not roan, but their foals have been giving the okay as roans so its not that black and white unfortunately.
Not 100% sure on that, horsy would have to give the final verdict, but I thought I remembered seeing that and people having sent horsy some of their equids before to check if they were roan or not.
Edit: and I don't mean this as a "quick go flood horsy's inbox with roan questions", its only if you are genuinely concerned that your foal isn't a roan. If it has a roan parent and looks like a roan, as far as I know it's a roan, so you shouldn't have to ask her about it.

Some breeding artists do require you to get confirmation if your equid is a roan (You guys are far too on the ball with stuff, how would I live without you?)
So please feel free to ask if your unsure.
As kita said, those foals born before the two parent rules can still be classed as roan even with one roan parent. If you are unsure I tend to get back to people pretty quick when its simple stuff like saying if a equid is roan or not xD

Thanks for the confirmation there horsy <3 I wasn't 100% sure but I am glad my memory didn't steer me wrong this time lol
I guess that would then lead to another question, if an equid who was called a roan became classified as a grullo for example and was never a roan at all, would their foals (even ones done now between what was thought to be 2 roans) still be a roan? Or would they also lose their roan classification? I don't need an answer, but just to throw that question out there should the situation arise.

I try to avoid going backwards as much as possible so any existing foals will be roan but any new foals won't be. So there are pro's and cons of getting foals check out.
Pro - yay definitely a roan! Woooooo!!! *dances*
Con - NOOOOOOOO No more roan babies!!!!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
