In the world of Rhodernia, there are 12 major city-states, Itene-A rich and thriving sea port on the southern tip of Rhodernia. Albava-Desert Oasis just outside of the Albavan Desert. Ursum- its located in Foothills of the Cyrus mountain range, and it teems with the poor, theives, and dangerous criminals. Sibisis-Legendary mountain town it is not known to exist and shrouded in mystery but some say its home to the elves. Espova-the Capital a rich town bursting with the high class. Cecantus-a highly religious town with citzens that devote themselves and sometimes their litteral lives too praying to the god Rhodis who they belive created the island land of Rhodernia. Amias- is a harsh snowy and artic island off the northern coast and the Cyrus mountian range only the truly brave or the truly foolish brave this glacier dotted water. Hibagia- the Town is nestled in the middle of the Pontuani forest The scholor and philsopher citizens try to keep the strange and curious creatures that roam from its depths at bay but some of the magic that fuels the forest seems to permate the city in even stranger ways. Dalator-This is the 'guild town' where weary travelers stop to rest and this story begins. Swanini- a small humid island off the coast of Itene, the people that come from this island always seem to have the perfect tan. Marole-is the mechant and artisan city, its full of craftspeople and artists trying to gain fame in the bustiln town. Orsal-is the most hostile of the citys, its known for its intimidating cavalry and expert horsemanship and though it has the fearful respect of the other citys Orsal still enjoys the occasional riavlry with another city as long as swords are drawn and warhorses saddled. Virivia- A small, tear drop shaped glacier off the coast of Amias. This glacier is inhabbited only by a tribe of nomads and penguins or those even more fool then the ones who jorneyed to Amias in the first place.
In the capital of Espova, the Royal Guard knights have been ransacking small villages for no known reasons. Queen Diona claims that she is trying to put an end to these rebellious knights within her orders, but who's to say that she's not the one playing strings.
Now there are ten, a mixture of young knights who have been removed from the Royal Guard, and elves who are fighting against the corruptions within the royal house. They come from all around Rhodernia, and make up the guild "The Knights of Rhodernia". Upon thier travels, this group will come across monsters, enemies, and even allies as they fight for what is right in their opinion.
Each of the members of "The Knights of Rhodernia" specialize in the use of a specific weapon ranging from a single sword, to the divine arts and anything ranging from an axe, a whip, daggers and throwing knives.and each of the guild members seem to be the best user of the weapon they claim, from among themselves. they each have their own story and past but all will play a role in the war to come.

The Debt
The rain lashes the girls back, lying down on the beach, despite the torrents of rain. Lightning cracks, but she stays outside. Her face would be wet by itself as she weeps over the life that she lost. "It's time," a voice says. The girl freezes, and the entire world seems to fall silent. "It's time, girl." "For what?" Her voice comes out, shattered and hollow. "You have a debt to pay." {That's the line I was referring to xD} "So it's really you. . ." she murmured. "If I recall correctly, I have no history of the sort, not of what you're looking for." "If I recall correctly," the man snarls, "Your sisters soul is now parted in two halves, one of the earth, and one of the afterlife. And you, if indeed my sources are correct, could have changed that. You have a debt to pay, and no man can escape it forever." There was an eerie silence as tears seeped from the girls face. Would she have really risked her own life to save her sister's? Yes, but fear had taken over. She had jumped off the street when the bus came and could only feebly call out to her, voice drenched in the pain of what she knew was going to happen. "It's time to pay your debt, girl." Her entire body felt the weakest it ever had, and the girls body emanated a blackish light. A broken scream entered her sisters reality, and that was the end of that girls life. . . well, the life she had been living.
Two nights after, she was plagued with wretched nightmares so awful that they would be impossible to describe in words. When she woke that morning, every human being she saw was surrounded in a halo of color; some purple, some red, some blue, some green. Thoughts swarmed her, some clearly not her own. Her head pounded with all the different thoughts swimming around, and she could hardly think straight. She could see souls of the broken, those who never made it to heaven, roaming the grounds of earth. Worst of all, she could see her sister. She could talk to her, but she would never answer.
So what is the debt? The debt is when someone could've saved a life, but didn't because of fear in the face of danger. The man that she saw was Sehktor, keeper of lost souls. When people die and they could've been saves, he places a plauge on them as a debt to the person that died. The debt is meant to give three factors of emotion: Pain, Grieving, and Guilt.They see people with auras, which predict how close they are to death. This punishment shows that if that person had just seen the aura then, they would've been able to save the person that died. This is supposed to burden that person with guilt. They hear the thoughts of others, which is supposed to represent how they could've felt the victims fear in the moment of death. This is burden someone with pain. And when the vicitm of the debt sees lost souls, they are burdened with grieving because they know that there were so many people that you could've saved, including the victim of the death you "caused". Only one out of a thousand people have been cursed with The Debt, but lately, the rate has gone up. Why? Because the curse has been passed on through a romantic relationship. In other words, if you kiss someone with The Debt, then you'd instantly be infected with it as well.
