I'm basically pulling all of this next part out of my butt, so don't expect it to be clean cut. xD
I just came up with this now.
It would take place in a special "school," though age is no restriction. xD
It would be more of a private and secluded town, the "teachers" being normal, average humans that help keep the Bathers a secret from the outside world. They go and collect supplies and what-not while teaching the bathers how to cope with who.what they are.
First we have the Sun Bathers, characteristically defined by their blonde hair, hazel or brown eyes and exceedingly healthy bronze tans and darker skin tones.
Then we have the Moon Bathers with their either Brunette or black hair, Green or blue eyes and unhealthy, pale skin. They are often sickly or frail.
They are often ill because of their short time Moon Bathing; they can only leave the confines of their rooms when it is pitch-black outside and they have to return before dawn begins.
If a Moon Bather is caught by the sun, the fiery orb will slowly suck their life from them. They can usually only spend two or three hours out doors during the day, while on the other hand, Sun Bathers have been known to last an entire night out under the moon; even if they are knocking on deaths door by morning. Most have chalked this up to the moons small size compared to the orbiting star. Another reason for the Moon Bathers resentment towards the Sun Bathers.
Moon Bathers are normally exceptionally brilliant while Sun Bathers are energetic and excel in athletics.
Because of the Moon Bathers tendency for illness, their residence is inside the "village" hospital; basically the same to ours in every way, if not a bit more homey. The Sun Bathers live in modern cube 'house', with stretching wall to wall and ceiling to floor windows to allow the maximum penetration of sunlight. They retreat to the basement for sleeping, however, to block out the moon.
The Sun Bathers and the Moon Bathers live nearly completely lives, never running into each other or getting to know each other. This is how it has always been.
Except, there is a rarity about to peak its head over the horizon.
After all, a complete Solar eclipse is a rare thing, let alone one that last for an entire week.
That's it. :I
And I know a solar eclipse lasting for an entire week is a load of cods-wallop. xD
*Drool*
Looks amazing!
