Dollhouse was probably cancelled because not enough ratings but i watched it every fri on fox when it came on i was so excided. yeah i heard persoanlly i dont think the buffy movie will even happen theres been alot of angry fans posting on the internet about how it shouldnt happen. even Sarah said its the stupidest idea ever i laughed when i watched the interview when she said that. ok ill give firefly a chance!

We are all aware of the very obvious firefly references on castle
But did you know that futurama has reference firefly once and actually [ur=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJOEabob2EEl]flat out mentioned joss whedon[/url] once as well.
So i guess someone on the writing staff or something is a Whedon fan

Actually as far as i can recall
Firefly has actually been referenced in three separate episodes of BBT (big bang theory)
The train episode guest starring summer glau. Though Raj i think was the one who brought up firefly in that ep. The other three wouldn't shut up about terminator.
The episode where Leonard betrays sheldon... the traitors game... sheldon brings it up.
and of course the episode showing the signing of the original roommate agreement.
.... What... geek with a really good memory and currently waaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands
