Do you own a/ny Golden(s)? - Yes
If so, what is his/her name and gender? - Jasmine, 5 years, turning 6 November 1st
How and where did you get your Golden? - I got my golden for my birthday. I don't remember the breeders name though. I went with my parents, practically squealing the entire way there. I chose a girl, and we took her home
Do you compete in any sports or participate in any special activities? - No. Although I would love to do agility with her, but her vet thought it would be better for her to not since she's a bit on the heavy side.

So, I brought a friend over who Piper hadn't seen since she was a little bitty puppy, because the other day my backdoor neighbour peeked over the fence and she growled at him. So, I wanted to see what would happen if a more or less stranger entered the house.

So I got my friend to just come in while she was sitting upstairs, she heard the door and went running down, and I hear her tail start wagging and he's like "Hi Piper!" and... failure.

Just goes to prove Golden Retrievers are the WORST guard dogs ever, haha!

Exactly xD my golden would knock a burglar over and kill him with licks xD she would offer him a dog biscuit.

Also my border collie mix barks and whines at other dogs, cause she wants to meet them. Also with people on bikes or scooters, etc because she freaks out about those, and has ever since she saw my friend Aspen fall off her bike and break her arm when she was a puppy. But jasmine on the other hand doesn't care one bit about dogs amd just walls on by. But when we pass a person she stops and sits In front of them until they pet her.
