Haha, I have to agree Cyclops is annoying. It's funny, the X-men are my favorite Marvel team, but I still hate so many characters. XD I also dislike Emma Frost and Jean Grey. I guess that's it, (so not tgat many, after all!) though sometimes I dislike certain versions of characters. (Like Rogue in the Last Stand.)

I have yet to read Uncanny X-Men, but based on the three main animated series' I have to say that I do agree that Cyc is rather annoying, except for in Evo where he's a lot more laid back. The same applys for Jean as well, she's a lot less...boring in Evo.
I waited two seasons to see Gambit in Evo and after I watched the episode where he appeared for the first time I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, until I realized that in Evo he doesn't refer to himself on the third person, it shows how little things really show character doesn't it /D

True. I think I like him not talking in third-person, though, it doesn't make him as, well, *simple*-sounding like he did in TAS.
Scott was fine in Evo, and the Evo comic which is in his POV ("Seeing Clearly") is a really good read. It's interesting to see their take on his joining the institute, and his characterization was pretty great. I wish he was always like that.
Jean always bugs me, though. However, in Evo she was kind of interesting.
Personally, Evo is my favorite X-men show. (And my fave Marvelshow, aside from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.) It was well-written, and didn't waste our time with aliens like TAS did. I haven't seen enough of Wolverine and the X-men to have a good grasp on how that show was so I can't say much about it.

Emma is kind of eh. I like her, though, because she's totally a blast to play as in Marvel Heroes. lD Shes not among my favorites. But her diamond form looks pretty dang cool
And I actually like Jean Grey. She's kinda cool in my opinion. ;v; I do agree she could be a little less... Well, boring sometimes, but I still like her. The Dark Phoenix saga was pretty great, too. She's also great to play in Marvel Heroes because when you play her you can just fling cars at mobs walking down the streets.

Personally I prefer Gambit talking about himself in the third person, I think it adds a little more depth to the character.
I really love Evo more then I expected but I really need to get around to actually reading the comics don't I /D
Scott and Jean especially are a lot less meh. Emma irks me in general but her diamond form is absolutely killer.
Overall out of the three main shows I would have to say I prefer the characters in this way
Wolverine - Awesome regardless imo
Storm - Once again, awesome regardless
Scott - Definitely Evo, he's annoying in AS and kind of pathetic in WaX
Jean - Evo for sure
Rogue - AS, her accent is more genuine and this version just has more depth in general
Gambit - AS, genuine accent and a bit more character depth
androgueandgambitinASispreciousokay
Kurt - WaX/Evo, he's rather plain in AS
Professor X - Evo, he's a little less uptight.
Beast - AS, I love his literary quotes

Captain Cuttlefish wrote:Okay so
I was thinking today and I came up with a question for y'all.
Who's your least favorite X-Man? This doesn't necessarily mean you dislike them, it could just be you like others better.
Mine is Cyclops. He's a jerk and I find him to be rather annoying, really. Storm made a much better leader.
Out of the X men X men?? Yeah Cyclops always annoyed me out of all the mutants I would have to say Toad becouse he really had no point and sucked at fighting.
"Do you know what happens to a toad when it gets struck by lighting? The same thing that happens to everything else"-Storm

That quote omg
My brother and I died when she said that. XD It was so great.
And that gives me another question to ask all of you!
What is your favorite X-Men quote? It can be anything, said by anyone, at any time!
Mine would have to be from some ancient comic issue whose number I don't recall, where Wolverine says, "Holy Hannah! What is that thing!?" I freaked out because Hannah is my name. I ran up to my brother like, 'omg he said my name HE SAID MY NAME' and we both started freaking out. XD It's been my Skype icon ever since.
And I love most things the characters say in the movies, but there are way too many to list out right now.

I have a lot of favorite quotes but that Storm one was the first one that came to mind for me. That and the one inthe same movie where wolverine shows up and Cyclops is ready to blast him, the whole conversation between Cyclops and wolverine at that point is funny.
