Illiterate to Literate [closed - new instructors hired!]

Alright, informing everyone that I am back, and now I will be able to respond. (Though it doesn't apprear I was needed while I was away.)

What You'd Like Help With: Either Devolping Believeable Characters, Developing Fantasy Humanoids, Worlds, and Settings, or Devolping Plots.

Activity or Time Zone: My time zone is Eastern time for the USA, and Im usually on from 2 PM to 1 AM or 2 AM for weekends, and from about 6 PM to 11 PM on weekdays.

Evon laid her legs out flat infront of her as she watched Que fly up into the air. He really wasnt the one to try to impress Evon; or anyone on that mark. She slowly crossed her legs and looked over at Asher and his crow. She smiled slightly before looking back up at Que who was now obviously looking for prey.

Evon ran her hands up the tree a bit and pushed herself up onto her feet. She was still silent; and listened to the slight flap of Ques feathers. She could hear it, being a scout and all; and it calmed her, as well. Her thin fingers pushed up even harder on the bark, and then slowly turned around, digging her fingers into the bark. She was silent as she did so, although a few pieces of bark did snap under her grip. She wrapped her legs around the tree, digging her boots deep into the wood and moving her hands further up to start pulling herself up onto the tree; and onto a tree branch would be nice.

She slipped the first time though; and fell about 9 feet, almost slamming her head into the bark. She sufficed a small growl, and slowly dug her fingers into the bark again, repeating the process. She went up faster this time, too, and her already scratched up, stiff and pained hands didnt help at all. She winced as she slipped again, but landing on a rather low branch; it was small, too. She sighed lightly and pushed her now scratched hands against the tree branch, turning herself around so she was looking out on the forest.

Que, by this point, had slammed into a branch but had gathered the small mouse that was almost frozen and easy to retrieve in his beak. He had started back on his way, too. He slowly flapped his wings against the chilly morning air, his wings flapping fast to not get chilled.

Evon looked up at him before she slowly slid down against the bark, her voice silent; she didnt really want to disturb the silence, either. She just wanted to relax; for now. Until Fynn came along and ordered them to do something, at least. Her light brown tangled and dirty hair slipped down over her shoulders, and closed her eyes silently, taking in a deep breath of the chilled air before yawning slightly.

.-. I think I might have to take growing illiterate- semi-literate + off my list of classes o.o I dunno how to teach it.

Preferred Instructor: an asian to the knee. Since in fact she is the only one doing coding. :)
Activity or Time Zone: I'm on the west coast time zone in America. So that means I'm three hours behind east coast people. That's alright, though, as I drift on and off CS throughout the day. I'm not always on, but I can shoot replies to PMs and usually get back to you a few times a day.

I spent a small part of my life living with my parents, and it was wonderful! we were a happy family that did most everything together, I remember papa telling me stories about different lands with magic and creatures beyond. He used to lift me up on his back and give me rides. Mama made food and was so kind and she was beautiful. One sleepless night though there were these creatures, not the ones from Papas stories. No. these creatures were strange they made me feel... scared, and weird inside. they got closer their feet thumping on the ground, but the odd thing about these creatures was their ability to walk on two feet. As they got closer Mama and Papa woke up and told me to get behind them. they had metal cubes with bars they took Papa, and that's when I ran at the creature and bit it as hard as i could. it yelled and kicked me, I skidded on my side across the ground, the blow had knocked me breathless. As soon as I could stand Mama told me to run as fast as I could and that it would be OK, wild eyed and afraid I obeyed her. I ran as far away from that horrid place that I once called home as I could get. when I could no longer run and I felt as though my lungs were on fire I ducked under a ledge and wept.

Hours later I looked up at the stars, and they gave me hope, my parents would come back for me! They said it would be OK. So I've never given up hope sense that night, and I know they will come back one day to get me and we will live together happily once more.
