The Semi-Literate & Literate Roleplayer's Club (V4)

I'm looking for someone to do a 1x1 with. The plot would be of a prince and princess from two small cities, twins separated as infants and raised without any knowledge of the other. When their parents fought shortly after their birth, the mother left the city, intending to take her two children with her. But in a twist of fate, she was only able to bring with her the boy. The remaining child was raised by the king, being told from then on that her mother and brother had died in a fire when she had only been a few weeks old. The queen in turn returned to her own hometown, regaining the throne from her father, and raising her son as the prince.

The two kingdoms could not be any more different, though. Dirio, the land of the king and princess, is harsh and brutish, while Lithio is of light and could not be more gentle. The two children did not differ from their upbringings, and grew into near images of their single parents. The princess was raised with swords and crossbows, being learned in the art of self-defense, was taught by her father that nothing could stand in the way on her quest to power. One day when she would take his throne, there would be no limits. The prince on the other hand, was taught by his mother that the most powerful means of self-defense was through love and light. While trained to be capable with a sword, he prefers not to fight, and finds no shame in trying to keep away from bloody battles.

But when a plague sweeps through the land, killing nearly half of the population of both cities, both royal families are robbed of their rulers - and parent. The two twins, suddenly finding themselves needed by their people, prepare themselves to ascend to their thrones. But with their populations wounded, they are both told by their royal advisors that the two cities should merge - at least for the time being. Weakened by the plague, their only chance of survival is to band together. Not knowing of their heritage or shared blood, the twins reluctantly agree to aid the other.

Lithio, being the smaller city, was harmed more by the plague than Dirio was. Because their population is smaller, they will be the ones moving to Dirio for the next few months before the merge can be settled. The struggles will be between the twins as they are forced to live under the same roof, not knowing of their heritage and despising the mere possibility of having to marry the other. (The marriage of course, will not happen. They will not find out about their shared blood for a long time, but no romance will be harbored, and rather after they get over being enemies, friendship will come of it.)

As a 1x1, I would like the other person to have very high literacy. Post sizes should be very long - 5-8 full paragraphs per post. Plot twists and constant new ideas will definitely be welcomed, and I would like the person to be quite active. I will be taking the character of the princess, so the other person should be able to play a gentle guy character (with any welcomed other personality traits you decide on). Please PM me if this plot interests you - I will be asking for a writing sample and will be looking through your posts to see your writing level XD. This is not first-come-first-serve, I will be picking someone who I think would be best for the roleplay. c: it will take place here on CS.

I still want to work on my literacy though. I'm starting to get back into RPing and replying more regularly, slowly, but surely, and I really would love to work on my literacy v.v

SOOOO. I really need more active threads. I've tried starting a couple of 1x1s but.. they never really start, so I figured I'd throw some ideas (very minor and would need lots of work) at you guys! Also, if you guys could throw some more active sites at me, that'd be awesome.

IDEA ONE. Just a simple horse and rider RP. You'd be required to make both a horse and rider and they'd be randomly paired or you could pick which horse you'd want for your rider when the RP starts.

IDEA TWO. A were-creature RP! This would be odd.. Every time I felt like the thread was lacking or dying I'd change the time. You could be any kind of were you wanted. ex. a were-wolf, were-cat, were-rabbit, for all I care. But I'd decide when we were in human or animal form. The animals would come out every night not just full moons.

IDEA THREE. The cliche super powers high school kind of thing. Or maybe they'd be more adult aged since I'm finding teens harder and harder to RP nowadays.

IDEA FOUR. A villain RP! You could play ANY VILLAIN from ANY show, game, movie, etc. And all the villains would gather for some kind of meeting. Maybe I'd turn this into just a good vs. evil. Make a good character from any movie but you'd also have to make a villain. ex. I'd definitely go for Scar from The Lion King and probably Hope from Final Fantasy XIII.

Any interest in any of these? Please also keep in mind these would be open to the public and not just this club.

Also, I'll work on that villains RP soon! :3 Do you guys like the idea of both good AND bad or just bad?
