I was not able to participate in the Splatfest a few days ago because I was out camping in a forest but I did watch some videos of people participating in it and it was quite fun to watch. I'm glad you guys had a good time playing it though.

I was under the impression Splatoon 2 doesn't come out until tomorrow? July 21st? It's July 20th where I am. How is it possible for the Splatfest to be out with the game not out? And I've seen videos on YT of the gameplay, which confuses me.

It does come out tomorrow, but last weekend a Splatfest was held which was much like a testfire for the game. The gameplay you could be seeing might be from people who were given the game early to review it or from people who are from other parts of the world that already have access to the game due to timezones

I'm assuming it was the former, but good lord it gave me the feels. I won't spoil it for anyone, but Hero Mode will put you through the feels wringer.

I'm so excited my copy should be coming today as well as a shirt since i preordered from nintendo.

Welp I just picked up my copy of Solatoon 2 and grabbed a male Corrin amiibo while I was out. I totally forgot the last smash amiibo came out today. Good thing both Corrins weren't in cuz I would have probably gotten both and spent too much money haha
