well, Rick did produce the Metallica album that made people say they were "back on track" (Their latest album, Death Magnetic) However, the album would've been better if the mixing was different. I guess it's because Rick produced Slayer's albums and had no idea how to produce "milder" not-drum-based and loudness-based thrash metal xD

I changed my username to street soldier. because I like LP so much xD I think their first tour was called the Street Soldier tour, and they use a war theme quite a lot (e.g. the Hybrid Theory album cover). So their fans became known as the Soldiers, and I'm pretty sure there was a video on their YouTube channel addressing their fans as the Street Soldiers. So... Thought I'd change my username. I'd been insedovah for a while haha

But whatever you do, don't judge my tastes by my username or signature. They're complete opposites! Lately, I've been obsessed with a certain hard rock/metal band. A.k.a. Disturbed. Seriously! I haven't heard a single Disturbed song yet that I don't like. It all kind of started when I was playing a video game with a music selection that involves 'Indestructible' [it also has 'Cry for Help' by Shinedown]. But, it was the recent couple of months that I really got addicted. According to the search function, I see that some of your favorites also include Disturbed. I have two full CDs and some misc. songs from other albums. My current favorite song from them would have to be 'Fear' [You've all really got to hear that song! Best. song. ever!] My other favorite bands include Shinedown, Korn [blame me for staying till they performed at a rock festival I went to], Three Days Grace [I always mix up 'Let You Down' with 'Down with the Sickness' at first], Five Finger Death Punch, Seether, Avenged Sevenfold, and pretty much anyone else with that kind of music."

There's this guy on YouTube who does AMAZING Linkin Park remixes. It does kinda take the "rock" out of them, but it's not too dubsteppy and I actually quite like them. I think he's done remixes of probably most of The Hunting Party, and maybe Living Things but I haven't checked. I think Blackout and Mark The Graves would make a good mashup, I know I'm not the only one who thinks they sound similar xD
