I think I want Skye on my island but I already have a few normals. I can't decide if I want to boot Molly or Celia. I like them both a lot. Almost tempted to ask them both to leave to make it easier, haha! I guess it's Molly and Celia vs. Skye and Gayle or Quinn.
I just moved Muffy in and finally got Patty to move. I'm not sure if I should try another peppy villager. They're a bit overwhelming. Is subtype A any more chill? (Bianca, Ketchup, and Rosie vs Patty and Tangy)

there is one spot in my new leaf town that i dont want villagers to move into. the right side of my river is quite small and at one point very close to the cliff,, it would be annoying to walk past if the entire middle was blocked bcuz id have to squeeze around the edges and and the paths wouldnt flow.
guess which spot 3 different villagers have moved in and out off
its not even like there isn't space elsewhere in my town to move either

^ have you tried putting temporary paths down where you don’t want them moving? They don’t move on top of paths unless they have no where else to go. You could also make a new villager if you know someone new is going to be moving in that day. Logging in on a already made villager makes the spot they move permanent even if you don’t save. if you make a new villager the spot is only permanent if you make it far enough to save the game. So in theory you could reset until they plop their house in a spot you like. I usually just plop temp paths down since I’m far too lazy to go through the make a new villager route.
I didn’t know that about the kk songs though, that’s really neat.

Speaking of paths, how do you even get paths in New Leaf? Is it the same as New Horizons where you just pick a custom design and put it on the ground or...? I'd love to know so the villagers stop moving in and destroying my fruit trees.

It's just pasting patterns in everything prior to NH, so they're not literal paths like in NH but the same look as a custom pattern on the ground

The only thing I regret about it is that it's harder to tell when there's a bug on the trees other than the row lowest in the lumber yard. I'm not 100% sure I want to go through all the work of moving them so they're close together but far apart enough that I can tell when there's a bug on them.
I don’t find that weird! I think it’s unique.
Similarly, I have a ton of fruit trees in one section called the ‘fruit bowl’ of my island.

AUGH I'm really starting to get annoyed with my villagers in New Leaf. Two of them have said they're leaving, but when I tell them they should go, they change their minds! I want new villagers dangit, why do they do that?!

paths sadly are not a thing in new leaf so this wouldn't work,, i'm probs gonna put a public work project there the next time i can,, but i have to wait for the villager to move out first

if you want a villager to go and they come up to you and try and talk, just ignore them. if they are going to move then usually another villager will talk about it in passing conversation so you know when they are moving.
but ya some of the personality types in new leaf will just decide to stay if you agree they should go and its super annoying
