ok, so tell me what you think about this dystopian plot?


• first, i was thinking..
  about only 15000 people live in america because of a flood and live on an island [ an old mountain ]. the twist is that every year they have a ceremony where they do two things- chose out of every 18 years to pair up and take children from last year's pairs to auction "their bodies". the way that works is the founders of the city have a machine they were given from the government to give older people the bodies of younger's. it was at first meant for research throughout the years, but people used it for bad.

I'm confused. They take the children from who? And they somehow make it to where he older generation can use those bodies as their own?

yes, and they take the kids from the 18 year olds that were paired the year earlier and 'auction' them off the next year after the new 18 year olds are paired.

also, i was thinking that maybe there should be the rich and the poor. the rich buy the bodies and the poor are paired and give their children away, working for all their lives.

i really don't like the huge block of text on the right, or the structure of the little box thingy. the only thing i actually do like somewhat is the list of basics and a few of the colors. so, suggestions? how do i make this less hideous?

maybe centering the block of text on the right and
adding more decor in there [such as fonts, symbols,
lyrics, ect.]; as well as maybe expanding the color
palette a bit since the bright green on left seem a
bit awkward [at least to me it does, idk]. then i do
believe you'd be good to go. cx

if they buy them at the auction? would the poor who give their children away
get some of the money, and is that the reason they do it? or is it just because

@flight: so the people that auction off their bodies, are they alive when they do so? I know the rich buy the bodies so they can live in them themselves, but what happens to the people who were in the bodies originally?
