i love rats, i just dont like their short lifespan

Yesterday while i was at school my sweet baby boy left me. Armageddon you were so amazing...you will forever be missed. You lived 3 long years. though one was wasted in the horrible conditions where i got you from. I did my very best to make the 2 years you spent with me good. I'm so so sorry i couldnt be there for you when you needed me... R.I.P Armageddon my sweet love bug.

I figured I better make an official announcement.. but..
yesterday, at 9:30.. I went to the vet and had Delilah put down. During the weeks before a tumor had developed in the middle of her back legs and was perfectly hidden. I didn't even notice it until it was too big. She was getting skinny and she just wasn't the same Delilah anymore. She looked miserable. Even her sister, Teyha, knew something was wrong and she NEVER left her side. She wasn't living anymore, she was just existing. By the time the appointment was scheduled it was big and rubbing on the bottom, and the vet said it was ready to burst. Surgery just wasn't an option. I cried for sure.. but I feel better knowing she won't have to suffer anymore. </3

I've tried handling and taking Teyha out a lot in the past two days, and I think she has figured out the situation, but she just doesn't want to be away from the cage at the moment so I'm going to let her mourn for a little bit. The cage is getting stinky too but those smells are the last thing Teyha has of her sister so I'll let it slide for a few more days but..

He is so cute Shadi! My first thought was Odin when I saw him, though that could be because I was watching Thor the other day haha.

I took Jack out trick or treating last night! Eep, he was such a hit! And he did such a good job too. :)
