i don't know. it just seems to be all i want to write really.

Just your neighborhood lurker popping in with a plot that I'd really like to do aaaa


Basically, it would be something like this:
Society is in shambles with a new epidemic that, well, causes people to "go to sleep". They are normally in long, coma-like slumbers for months, and eventually their bodies just shut down and finally die. Most are executed beforehand to keep the disease from spreading. However, there is one sort of treatment, only available to those incredibly wealthy. There are several people throughout the world who can enter the dreams of those asleep, and try to convince them to wake up. This isn't an easy task, as the one asleep has absolute control over their dreamworld, like a sort of god. Whatever they want appears in their world, and this includes ways to kill those who have come to wake them. While the wakers can enter and exit the dreamscapes whenever, if the waker is killed by the sleeping, they cannot ever enter again, and the sleeping person is as good as dead.
In short, the RP would focus around several awake and several asleep, and the whole thing would be a twisted game of sorts. Those RPing the asleep get to create the dreamworld, those RPing the awake have to try to convince them to "wake up", a concept that they don't understand in the dreamland. For all they know, the dream is real life. :'D

To reserve a spot, just PM me what position you'd like and what gender. I'll start the numbers a bit low, but I'll increase them as needed.
The numbers currently are going to be 3 5 asleep, 3 5 awake, and 2 "outside" people. These two would take on preparing the awake for their fights, or just general employers/specialists.
Also, if you'd like, mention in your PM if you'd prefer one or two characters per person, because it's a bit hard to pick between asleep and awake. If enough people say yes, everyone can have one of each. If not, you can just choose. :I

I hate posting on this thread so much lately but I really, really wanna write guys.. q.q

I dunno how many of you know anything about D&D or about the character Drizzt Do'Urden but GAH HE MAKES ME WANNA PLAY A DROW. Like so bad. A ranger to be exact. I'm reading the first part of the Forgotten Realms' expansive collection (The Legend of Drizzt 1-3 to be exact). This may be more directed toward thorissia's RP (I'm not sure I spelled your username correctly, but you get me).

Anyhow. Does anyone know anything about the series at all? Or anything really about Drizzt?

And I actually have a plot idea what do you know:

Okay so there are two kingdoms: Nenisr and Lissabi. Nenisr is actually a combination of two kingdoms: Nenisr and Iroteil, but the Iroteil Kingdom got taken over by the Nenisr Kingdom because the latter wanted to extend their boundaries because of a food shortage. Now they have their sights set on Lissabi Kingdom territory, but the Lissabi kingdom won't give up their land without a fight. Meanwhile, some cats from Iroteil are organizing an underground movement to break free of Nenisr and gain their homeland back. And all in all, there will be alliances, traitors, and tons of fighting.

So, does that sound okay? Or do you have something else in mind?
