So I was curious what everyone's reactions were to the Pokemon news today. I was surprised that they aren't bringing a major Pokemon game to the Switch yet, but then again this has been done so much and makes sense that Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are staying on the 3DS. That just makes me think that the gen 4 remakes could possibly be the Switch Pokemon game in the future or maybe they'll have something like Gale of Darkness appear on the Switch.

But I am super excited for a new Pokemon game already. Honestly, the game lineup this year has been and continues to be really awesome, at least for me. I found Arms to actually be really interesting when they were running the testpunch the last two weekends and I will probably end up getting it now and of course. Plus I'm a sucker for fighting games it's not like I'm a competitive Smash player or anything lol The new Pokemon games get me really excited. The only problem I have right now is Nintendo is just asking for all my money right now. I'm gonna be so poor by the end of the year

has anyone here played the new fire emblem game, shadows of valentia? i'm kind of on the fence about whether or not i should get it, and i was wondering what some of you guys think about the game!

@cyanideburrito; I have played it and I have enjoyed it a ton, though I still have yet to finish it due to going into the final dungeon very unprepared and not being able to leave until I beat the final boss. I never played Gaiden so it was an entirely new story for me and I found it super fun, though the final area has proven to be annoying, especially the final boss I personally have never struggled this much with a final boss. The characters are super lovable though and it's unique compared to the most recent games in the series that we've become used to. I'd definitely give it a go

Im a little iffy on remakes as it is but I think sun and moon is a pretty shameless cash in.
but Im not the biggest pokemon fan so it could be just that, and they've at least made changes to the game.
Im excited for ARMS, Splatoon 2 and the re-release of skyrim on that console though.
I dont approve of skyrim being re-released a 3rd time for Full Price, but I'm going to wait for it to go down before buying it.

also have any of you guys had any issues with your joycon?
My left one pulls to the left sometimes when I play botw and I was wondering if anyone knew any fixes.

i'm kinda worried ultrasun/ultramoon are just getting platinum'd. makes sense bc sun and moon were the fastest selling nintendo games ever, second best-selling nintendo games ever, one of the highest selling titles in 2016 etc etc. so i'd assume nintendo would be interested in piggybacking off that success right

platinum wasn't a bad game but it was essentially a copy of diamond and pearl, while b2w2 were good, basically standalone titles,
and by the looks of the trailer (and the length - 7 seconds? if it was a game like b2w2 i think an announcement would be bigger) it seems like it'll be more platinum than b2w2.

I'm not sure if I will buy ultra sun and moon. More than likely my mum or uncle is gonna find the ad on tv and like buy it for me on Christmas (happens every time a new Pokemon game comes out) however I am going to buy heart gold and soul silver because I never played that generation (accidently skipped it) did have the DS remake but would love to play the original.

I was really hoping for a diamond and peal remake but oh well
