I was today years old when I figured out that you can dance around the bonfire at Harv's campsite in New Leaf. I just pressed A on the bonfire thinking it would just snuff it out, but nope, my character started doing a cute little bunny hop dance. ;u;

Eheh, also one of my favorite things in New Leaf is that Brewster will actually ask you how you like your coffee sometimes once you’re a regular. He occasionally will ask how much sugar you want (let’s you pick how many spoonfuls) or how much milk (none to lots). In real life I do two spoonfuls and loooots of milk so I thought that was cute flavor text. <3
Plus you can do a cute mini game where you make coffee for villagers once a day.

While we're still on the topic of New Leaf, can I just vent for a sec?
Diving in that game, honestly any AC game really 'cause NH isn't much better, is absolutely infuriating! All I wanted was one dumb spider crab, which I only have until the end of this month to catch before it goes away until closer to the end of the year, and I can't. Freaking. Catch it. Every time I see a shadow that I think might be it, the dang thing swims away and I can never time my dive right to catch it. I always either dive short and it swims ahead of me faster than I can go while underwater, or I dive too far ahead and it swims the other way. Why did they have to make diving so ridiculously stressful?! It's Animal Crossing, y'know, the cute little game with animals as neighbors and a relaxing atmosphere. I shouldn't feel like I'm gonna have an aneurysm when I'm just trying to fill out my museum or catch something to display in my house.

^ Yeah I can’t say I’m a fan either. I’ll say at least NH got rid of the jellyfish… in new leaf I actually thought you could catch them somehow for the museum, Lol it was amusing when I found out you couldn’t. My poor character got stung so much trying to figure out how. XD
There is a few tricks to make it easier. In new leaf I like to swim towards the side of the net so they swim towards the beach instead of behind the net.
In new horizons you can sneak up on them above the surface by swimming slowly before you dive for them. I can’t remember if that works in new leaf, I honestly have only been fishing and catching bugs since diving is more stressful because of the jellyfish.

Unfortunately the swimming slowly trick doesn't work in New Leaf, I tried it. Oh jeez don't even get me started on the jellyfish. I can't tell you how many times I've been chasing something down, and a stupid jellyfish decides to pop up right in front of me so I can't avoid it. Why are they even a thing? Were the janky diving mechanics not enough already?

this video? And yes, I'm aware this is a SpongeBob parody, but the guy who created it used Photopia in order to record the animation and edited in the SpongeBob lines. Pretty good job too
Gotta be Rodeo. That guy's up to something, I can see it in those beady red eyes.
