The event is over today, there will be no more pets after this but you still have until March 31st at 11:59 PM to collect and turn in tokens. I suggest you turn them in the day before though just in case time zones are different, people have had issues in the past where they thought they still had a few hours but because of time zones they actually didn't and the event eended before they got to trade in their tokens.

The site is too new to really have a 'rares' list yet, but 2013 pets, specifically Bazaar pets and August pets can be considered on that list, as well as the first few birthday pets. The Beta Glasswork would be at the top of the list. :)
