DA is super prone to art theft and DA doesn't really do much about it. And I can bet you someone's going to steal art of equids and try to sell them as adoptables.

I believe that horsy understands this (as she's been apart of DA for quite a while) so I'm sure she'll be taking pre-cautions to limit this (with the adoptables) and I suggest that anyone whom posts fanart/etc should take those precautions as well.

Precautions you can make are;

- Putting a watermark on your equid's to be sure that they are related back to you, and are related back to horsy
- Making sure that you have the appropriate copy rights displayed on the page.

Something else that will help
- Make sure you keep your equids active enough so that the entire WME community could recognise you as that equids owner.

There are also precautions that EVERYONE can take to be sure to limit the possiblity of Equids being stolen.
- Be sure to check EVERY equid image that you see which is not posted to the WME account. That is one sign it's been stolen.
- WME owners should be joined to the group, look for the username/image in the group members page.
- Keep active! Check the feed pages often to find if there are any issues.

Well, I'm definately going to be moving to DA. It might take me a little longer, though, because I need to get better virus software on my computer. XD

Not that I'm not "loyal" to the equids ... I just need my computer and cant afford to get viruses on it and DA is really bad for viruses...

DA does not give you virus's, google adverts does.

So if you get a virus you need to record the url of the page it was on, the date and time and then email the google adverts complaints. This may not be the same for all sites but it is on DA. Alternatively you can get a premium membership to remove the adverts.

And yes I have gotten a virus, but I have also stopped the same said virus when it came along a week later. If you have a pop-up come from a website whether it looks like your anti virus or not then close down the tab and the pop-up and run a virus scan. Then it will be fixed. If that doesn't work do a system restore of your computer for a couple of days ago.

Another way to prevent your computer form contracting viruses is to download Google AdBlock. I used to get viruses quite frequently and I'd have to remove them, but AdBlock and Primarily AdBlock Plus(which I have) blocks every single advertisement on the internet, thus eliminating the threat of viruses and spam and those irritating ads that you have no idea where the sound is coming from. (DX)

Wow thanks Zax! ^^ I installed it, as ads do annoy me sometimes.
Although I've never gotten a virus (also have software and ap added on google chrome).

However, as I've said in to past, I will be around.
Stalking, and always available here if you need me for WME stuff!
I'll just be more active on DA for a bit since, I still need to organize my page etc. etc.
(As well as find a way to get another premium, running low)

But I think DA will be good for WMEs and as much as it sucks that I have to say goodbye to some of you,
we've had a good run! Think about it! Most of us have spent 2 fan clubs together, going on 3!! Not to mention RPs! I've met some really awesome people here (most of them are the only ones that I talk to on DA as well!) and will miss those deeply. I can only hope the WME community on DA is as nice as this one.

Fanclubs are going to continue still, right? Why do we have to say goodbye? As long as I see you in here, it's like old times still. We don't have to say goodbye. It's not like if you join DA you are never coming back to CS. Lol

I am saying goodbye personally because I am tired of a number of very rude people I have seen post/met through here.. Sorry but Im not going to sugar coat it and no, not going to say names, but it was only a few, mostly everyone I met have been friendly to talk to. I didn't say or do anything cause I loved the Equids and was willing to put up with it to adopt them and stuff, but now that they are leaving to DA and I have no intention of going there for them, I see no reason to post much anymore in the club.

I will still silently stalk and drop pics sometimes though to people that I talk to through pm and such just don't plan on posting much either than that. Can't speak for other people though as to why they might be saying goodbye XD *slinks off again* just wanted to let people know that I don't hate them XD just won't be posting as much

Well, this gives me a reason to use my dA account more lol I'm going to miss the CS adoptions, but the move might be for the better. I'll try and remain active here is the fanclub. Once I get a stallion I'll probably take a bit of a break.

Quick question though:
For any CS equids that are being judged but have yet to have a winner announced, will they still be given out here on CS?

While we are on the topic, and for those who are interested, you can download an anti-virus called Microsoft Security Essentials, it is better than norman and Mcaffee and all those, it doesn't slow down your computer and I have yet to have a problem with it. And its FREE!!!

I need to contact my chestnut foal's owners, and hope they can add them to DA, or I wont get my foal ;_; also, don't worry, I wont be leaving this WME community anytime soon, I love it too much! <3
