I own an original ds that I bought when I was 10. I saved up the money myself for three years and did my research and all...ds original is a clear winner! Not only do I have a sentimental attachment to it, -it being the first thing bought with my own $$$ over $30-40 since I bought my gba- but it's just much better. Better speakers, better durability, better microphone.....my younger brother has one as well. We were in a terrible car accident last year where our car rolled down a hill and he broke his neck...his DS still works =^.^=
Not to mention the whole right hinge defect. I also acquired my older bro's dslite....awesome story, he lost the charger and said if i bought a charger i could have it. So I bought a #10 charger set and walked away with a $130 ds lol....
anywho, long story short, I'M ADDING THIS!!!

Baha, cool story! XD Not so much for your brother, (ouch o.o) but the DS survival is a nice bit. I also hate the right hinge defect. It's in every single DSlite, I swear. Not to mention the allignment problems...That got me sitting on a chair for at least two hours before it stuffed up again in a matter of three days.
I heard about the DSi XL, it's sort of a fatter improvement to the DSi, methinks. I guess that's better, but the original still owns. ;D

I have both,I like the orgainl through.I had to get the lite (sadly) because my little cousin broke my orgainl I wanted the same but they were sold out and I had no choice *ISgh* but I would love to join still.

For Shiba: The DSiXL is just a bigger version of the DSi, Not fatter (In Ratio).... I think its about the size of the Eee PC Notebook Laptop, Or around that size....


I Dont have one, but its pretty impressive.... It even has 2 games loaded onto it. But I think one of them is from the brain training series xD
