Hey pokeclub! I hope you guys are doing alright.

I recently picked up Violet again and I'm most of the way through the story; I have two bases and three gyms left before all the endgame stuff. (idk if I'll put it off?? Because I really like the [REDACTED] section and miss'm when it's over. 😭) Anyway.

I'm a little curious! I've seen suggestions and builds for certain mon to use against stuff like event raids, but are there any suggestions for general all-'rounder pokemon for post-game raids? 🤔 I imagine I'll probably be hitting them eventually to farm stuff for raising/training/herbs and the like, so I thought maybe trying to prepare some guys while I'm doing other stuff like dex completion wouldn't hurt.

Iiiiiii do NOT have the DLC yet, I was gonna try to get the most out of my base game before I spend on it. 😅 If anyone has arguments for not doing that, I'm open to hearing them!

Just wanted to post this here! The epilogue for the DLC is live now. In order to get what you'd need for it, you'll need to check Mystery Gift & get via internet.
Figured I'd mention it since if you were like me you would've thought it'd be a software update :}

Hello everyone, I have a fun Pokémon poem that I wrote for a Creative Writing project a few years back, and thought it would be nice to share with all of you:

Ultimate Pokémon Brawl!

Welcome, everyone, one and all!
It’s the ultimate Pokémon brawl!
Arcanine summons a fire blast
Dialga dodges and escapes to the past
Pikachu pounces and discharges lightning
Lucario leaps and joins in the fighting
Blastoise shoots out a Hydro Pump
Cinderace dodges with one mighty jump
Lugia soars with its Aerial Ace
Blissey uses Protect, just in case
Scizor darts forward with Bullet Punch
Gyarados counters with a crit. hit crunch
Volcannon prepares to build up steam
Gardevoir stuns with its Dazzling Gleam
Charizard attacks with Dragon Claw
Noivern does too, and it leads to a draw
Alolan Ponyta uses Play Rough
Wooloo defends with its thick, dense fluff
Pidgeot flies with its Quick Attack
Dialga gets hit once it comes back
Espeon summons a Future Sight
Umbreon disappears in the darkness of night
Zoroark uses an illusion to hide
Kyogre rides on the incoming tide
Venusaur unleashes a Frenzy Plant
Rattata tries to dodge it, but can’t
Flabébé floats away on its flower
Mewtwo wields its psychic power
The Pokémon trainers all stand tall
Because it’s the ultimate Pokémon brawl!

Picture of me and my sleepy shiny Raikou. Adorable, ain't it? And for anyone who thinks this is an illegal mon, it's not. In the DLC, Raikou is Shiny-locked, this one was transferred from my copy of Shield, where it's actually possible to catch a shiny Raikou via Dynamax Adventures

Pokemon Day is soon! Who else is excited for the presents? I'm hype. I have a couple of different like. I suppose wants / expectations.
My wild hopes: a new PMD game............. or explorers remake. Just something to do with PMD. Tera mons would be such a good mechanic................................ you have so many new legendaries that could be plot relevant................ my heart yearns
More reasonable hopes: Black/White remakes, or maybe a Legends game (candidates for that being Kalos and Unova as the ones I would kill for, haha). I wouldn't mind a Let's Go game for Johto, though, if they go with that angle.
My "please don't??" category: I don't want gen 10. Not yet. I am also tired of Kanto so please no Kanto games. Or Johto, honestly, outside of a let's go game.
