I haven't got much of Qiyana in my games, but I think she is pretty useless from what I've seen, even a friend who I play with occasionally that's played her a lot says she isn't very good, but it's a nice change from Riot releasing new insanely OP champs lol

henlo people im really bad at league but i want to git gud mostly because ive been playing with a cute boi and i want to impress him hehehuhu

any advice on how to improve ? are there any champions that are easier to use as a beginner ?

so far ive played ahri and tristana , not sure which one i like more lol. the only other similar-ish game i play is overwatch - i prefer playing zarya or lucio (tanky / support) but i enjoy the 'fun' heroes as well (hammond lmao)

theres just way too much and i have no idea where to start hhhhh thank you to anyone who responds with any advice ~

Alright, kids, its that time of the year again.

PROJECT: 2019 teaser and trailer have dropped. Pyke, Akali, Irelia, Jinx, and Warwick are getting them this year. Here's my thread giving my prediction for their lore. I wonder if I'll be right like I was about Yuumi's lore. We'll see.

I don't know much about PROJECT but your post was really interesting to read. I wanted to comment there but didn't wanna sound dumb. Is PROJECT like a separate universe from the rest of League? Is it a side story that fleshes out characters differently than regular lore? Is it not canon? Hearing your theory made me feel sooo out of it because I'm not that informed on this subject haha

oof I can understand you looking to improve. I used to focus on overwatch but recently switched to League as my main game. I'd love to help you out, give you tips n play with you if you'd like! You could add me on discord n we could talk in further detail but for now I'll tell you what's helped me so far..

I used reddit to get some help by asking questions. I usually play support or adc but my best role is probably the former. I'll take Soraka, Lux or Lulu support and had a Sona n Zyra phase as well. I'd recommend any of them honestly. Imo, Soraka is mainly good for healing and really heavily supporting your team, but it's pretty hard to carry as her. The others have a lot of potential to poke the enemy and get up in their face, especially Zyra. Here is my reddit post asking for tips on playing support.

If you're going adc you're going to want to stay moving and focus on last hitting minions as well as dodging enemy skill shots and getting damage in when you can. I pretty much only take Kai'sa adc because she works best for me but I think Ashe is probably a good fit for a beginner.

@kittncakes - PROJECT (like most skin lines) isn’t canon! they’re separate universes! From what I can grasp from Pyke’s interactions with his new skin, it seems as though he’s trying to stop PROJECT due to them turning him into a full robot, as opposed to just having upgrades like every other member of the skin line. It also introduced a new sub category with Akali’s skin, “turncoats”.
If we’re lucky, they’ll put out a story of some sort, or maybe a comic, to flesh it out more.

@yoongi ! - I personally recommend Rakan, as hes a really easy champion to get the hang of, while also being extremely fun. Tbf, Im extremely biased since I started playing the week he came out, and he became my main immediately. As for adc, Varus is pretty fun and easy imo. The only thing you have to keep in mind is his W passive. If you want, you could totally add me on league and I can help you find a champ that fits your play style!!

So, this is a bit awkward for me but I've decided to join and start playing League of Legends. I'm honestly really new to it and have a couple of friends trying to teach me all there is to know. I'm finding it super complicated but I hope I'll get there. I'm playing in the EUNE region right now.

I've been into playing a lot of support characters but obviously with my lack of knowledge, I feel a little lost sometimes. So I was wondering if anyone could link me to 'new-player' friendly in-depth guides?

So far the champions I have enjoyed playing has been Lux because I like her offensive and supportive capabilities. Any recommendations?

Any tips for someone who has been playing RPGs (mainly PvE) but is new to the MOBA scene as well? Thanks. Also, I know that LoL has been infamous for its toxicity and that's always been a part of what has stopped me playing since I can have a lot of anxiety about this. Is this true or not? A friend of mine has told me that the community has become more mellow over the years.

I hope to progress gradually to the point I'm confident. Thank you for all the help in advance.

hey I’m a Lux one trick w/ about 150k mastery points on her - I play her for her burst damage/utility and I play her mid. Champions that I also enjoy playing include Evelynn (one of the pretty strong junglers, huge burst damage making her similar to Lux however their kits are not that alike, got nerfed this patch tho), Neeko (midlaner who’s kit feels pretty similar to Lux), and orianna (midlaner, has a similar burst damage to Lux but she’s much harder compared to Neeko or Lux). I know a few people who enjoy Morgana (support) as she also has a long root but I feel like Morgana is much less offensive and has less burst compared to Lux.

If you want offensive supports you can always play Zyra or Brand as they’re both huge damage dealers and both are considered supports, I haven’t played them tho so I can’t tell you whether they’re similar to Lux. I also enjoy playing Pyke when I’m support but he’s not that similar to Lux.

LoL is pretty toxic lolol but the anxiety goes away the more u play and there will always be a lot of chill and nice people out there as well. You should mute everyone if it bothers you and play like you’re just playing with bots ^-^

Been a while since i posted here. Im Swift Ninja Ace on the NA server. I normally play aram, but I'll do normals. I'll play anyway role, besides adc cause im bad. My favorite champions are gnar and zac, I'm acutally starting to like yuumi alot. I'm pretty decent with alot of champions. I really only play for fun, don't think I'll do any right unless I have a team of five or something. I'm not toxic, basically chill. I do get fustrated, but i take it out on people. Wanna play, hmu <3
