As per a ruling a while ago which was made stating that there should be no duplicates in warrior names except in specific situations due to a use of strict traditionalism (eg, two Dawnstars would be fine, two Dawnpaws or Dawnkits would be fine, but two Dawnshines would not. The traditionalism ruling is because strict traditionalism only allows 17 suffixes, and plenty of prefixes already have 17 uses, such as Dawn-, and finding a unique traditional suffix around 17 other uses could be very very difficult). There are a few other case by case rulings, but that is essentially the standing, and if you want more detail, please PM me.
These exact rulings are potentially subject to mild adjustments as I actually get around to PMing all concerned parties who have duplicates.

I mostly wanted to post this as a reminder to at least attempt not to duplicate, so please pay special attention if you are announcing names on the fanclub as there is a good chance that you caused me to remember to do this, but this is useful to everyone, so I will name no names.
You need to check both in v4 and in v3, searching for all three of the following versions (using Dawnfur as an example): "Dawnfur", "/url]awnfur", and "/url]awnfu[url="
Each of those must be done separately (press back after the search has been returned and you have checked for if those clans are active if any results came up). Those need to be checked on v4 and v3. You can ignore any instances if those instances are from clans not listed on the front page (I can't cover you if your clan regularly changes names). You can also ignore dead cats; the cat is dead, you are not duplicating a living cat, but please at least try to not use names from prominant cats who died very recently.
If that's a lot of work (and it can be), I suggest either asking me (and I'm normally at least close to up to date, though I can't help currently due to being stuck on my phone for the next few weeks and probably needing at least a week to catch up fully again), asking on the fanclub if anyone has one, or just picking rarer name components/styles. Deciding to stick to traditionalism could also help, but now that I've said that it'll be obvious if anyone changes a lot of names just to stick to strict traditionalism and get out of doing the searches.
