Yes, most of the rps I made that died was because I was too lazy to finish it. One I did finish was called DestinedOnline and I had so much passion for it but the members didn't seem to have enough muse. So all the rps I made here died.

All of them. And all of the ones I've been in died. *cries* Although, I have a couple of 1x1s that have lasted a couple of months, so we'll see.
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.

Have any of the rps you've made in the semi-lit club died? Why do you think it has?All of the ones I've been in from here, or ones that I've created through this club have died. I think that it's because people lost interest, or agreed to join when they really shouldn't have (other obligations, no muse, not really interested, etc.). It could also be because most of the ones I join are more literate than most, which makes it difficult for some people to keep up, or catch up if they've been gone. They sort of fizzle out and die after a while.

All of them bc of either personal neglect or lazy members...or a mixture of both
Although I feel like a to must die at one point unless someone has a really detailed plot and really goes for it 24/7 in which case wow A+ I wish youth kudos on your effort

I agree.
I never go into a roleplay thinking its going to last very long. Unless your members are very good friends - and all know each other and yada yada - then it has a chance. The only instance where I've had a roleplay last was a one x one. it lasted for over five years, before we finally just decided we were tired of it and didn't have any good ideas to keep going. The one x ones are the only roleplays I've had that lasted for a mentionable amount of time - and even the one was the farthest I ever got. Otherwise, most of them just died in like a week tops. Most never ever take off.
I agree that one x ones are the longest lasting things. I would think that is in part due to waiting is easier, and there's nothing to catch up on if you can't post for a bit. It's super hard finding partners in my opinion, mostly because it seems most literate people aren't so fond of me, but I have found quite a few good ones over the years that have kept them going for quite some time now.

all of them ; w; some before even starting.
and the ones I've joined too
ivthink it's simply because most people have more commitment to one x ones and forget about the groups.
I don't check messages here. If you've found me through other websites or communities such as deviantART/Kiamaras, my characters are not for sale and never will be.

i have pretty much the same answers as everyone else: they all die, onexones are better, people lose interest, etc.
it really annoys me though. like, really. i love roleplaying with a group, because even though onexones are great in their own way, in a group you have so many different styles of writing and methods of perceiving things. i tend to change my writing style slightly to make it similar to that of my partner: with a onexone it gets a little bit creepy, but in a group i can pull different techniques from different people without seeming like too much of a stalker. ;n; [i use roleplaying to practice writing, which is why i try out different stuff.]

Have any of the rps you've made in the semi-lit club died? Why do you think it has?Ahem… Yeah. I don't run RPs in general, and within the group here is no different. But I have seen quite a few of them fail before they are even started. I'm pretty sure the reason for that is the same reason most businesses fail before they even make a single sale: dedication. Both things take far more time than most people anticipate, and the work can be both hard and boring. To run a successful RP you must have a lot of enthusiasm and find a way to keep that high even when your interest wains.
