@kaebedo: I've enjoyed Theater Mechanicus as well! It's fun to strategize and upgrade mechanici as high as possible to see how much damage they can do!

Interesting strategy, to turn off the music during Windtrace lol. I'll definitely remember that!

Theater Mech is the best event tbh, I just wish they'd kept it to where the levels are permanent like the first run and made the upgrades for them what were temporary.

Windtrace is my favourite event and I'm so glad they got rid of the dragonspine map, that one was truly painful, but I am sad they got rid of the Wuwang Hill zone. I wish they brought back all the maps (sans starglow cavern) and introduced a voting feature where the team can either select a specific map or let it be random.
Hiding has been much better this time around compared to last year IMO and I've seen some of the most creative disguises. I've won roughly 3/5 games as Rebel and 2/3 games as Hunter -- I feel like if you know what you're doing it's very easy to win as hunter, esp if you catch the majority of rebels early on then just use Mysterious Hunch and OP Insight. The location I've won the most at is definitely just hiding as a lamp beneath the grapes at dawn winery, as long as it's daytime -- if I'm there I rarely ever have to move.
I do agree with wishing they would implement a short period after the match where you can continue chatting with your team before it's disbanded, I've met some of the funniest and most confident rebels ever in the chat and even despite social anxiety I have that gamer need to say gg to them after the match ;-; esp if they've done well.
I've actually been recording some Windtrace matches and will probably continue to do so as I play more (I wish there was more reward for obtaining points beyond the max coins, it just seems like it was hit so early), and will potentially post it to youtube so wish me luck editing my first ever video scream. Though I am looking forward to looking through even the current footage and reliving those fun rebel matches. I couldn't even sleep last night because I was thinking about playing more Windtrace, I think I have a problem haha.


My friend's been having a lot of trouble getting Genshin to download on her new laptop as the download keeps failing, which means she's missing her second Windtrace and IMO this would 100% be her favourite event too. It's painful knowing how fun it is and how she's not here to experience it :')

Maocifer, lol, once at the Dawn Winery map, I was a lantern, and hid mostly up on a balcony. The Hunter past me and never thought to climb up there. Towards the end, when I thought they would eventually find me, I jumped down and hid in a hedge.

For nighttime at Dawn Winery, hiding in the vines as a chair has worked really well. Won two matches, once as the sole survivor.

Yeah in my experience the winery is one of the easiest places to win as rebel. The building is large enough so it takes a decent amount of time to get around that you can easily move without the hunter seeing you. And there's a wide range of areas with 'disguise' objects already in to blend with that the hunter can't just spam the catch button in one area and find everyone in disguise, plus the disguises there really look like they would fit practically anywhere.
When I was playing there yesterday as hunter I totally missed Shenhe just stood there with the maids so many times because of her white hair she kind of blends in for me, only after getting close then doing a double take did I go, 'wait-- that's not right'. The obvious disguises, like Zhongli just sitting on a bench, are the best.

XD Something funny I saw while playing Windtrace. Someone as Yun Jin wasn't wearing a disguise and kept running around on a rooftop to avoid being seen by the Hunter! Wow LOL

Since I turn a year older today, the birthday celebration on Genshin thing happened!! The cake is FANCY and the birthday messages that are my faves would be from Ayaka, Hu Tao, Thoma, Gorou, Kujou Sara, Kokomi, and Itto. Ayaka somehow found out about my birthday ahead of time--sneaky! Hu Tao was such a tease. Gorou was like, "I'm gonna help organize a fun party that'll make most generals jealous!" Sara's favorite number is 5, so she says she offers me 5 birthday wishes. Thoma, who to me is the sweetest, basically said, "Hold on, you didn't think I'd forget about your birthday, did I? Here, I have this meal set up for you!" Kokomi planned a fun day of activies, including taking a stroll along the prettiest area in Inazuma; Watatsumi Island. And water diving. And indoor reading to do if it rains. XD Also, Itto's beat-boxing. pfff

Since I'm almost there in triple crowning Ayaka (1-2 more times against Azdaha, and 2 more gold elegance scrolls), I'm saving my fragile resin for Childe. It'll be a while until he's triple crowned lol.
