@The Dungeon Mistress

Oh my god. I'm speechless. Really, you drew the breath straight out of my lungs and killed all words. Maybe it's just the lack of any sort of literature that's been causing me to cling to any form of writing, but I wouldn't hesitate to join a roleplay like that. It's just too awesome! Exciting, mysterious, and uncanny!

Hey all! Ms. Bennington and I have a new roleplay up!
Here is the intro:
The planet you find yourself on is not Earth. It is Sayari.
Those who dwell within it have a rather...unusual link to themselves.
A part of their soul is Dragon.

Every human being on Sayari has a part of them that is seperate, and yet one with themselves. It is their Dracio; their Dragon. When a human invites the Dracio of their soul into their heart, their physical body, it is activated; and seperates itself from the human, manifesting its own physical form. Most have up to three, no more; though the first and foremost manifesting form is that of a Dragon.

But it is not easy to accomplish this.

The only way to activate the Draco is through an experience many are hesitant to approach; self-recklessness. Attempted suicide is the most common form of this criteria, though there are others, such as intentionally performing a life-threatening action. Only then will the Draco be embraced...and sometimes, even then, it does not work. One takes a great risk in trying to gain the activation of their Dracio.

And those who were once hesitant are now desperate to activate it.

There is a disease spreading throughout Sayari. It has claimed the lives of hundreds, thousands, and counting. It is uncurable, completely unstoppable. It is called Sjúkdómur.
The only ones who have not died of this sickness are those whose Dracio have been activated. They know not why they are not affected; all they know is that anyone who has not found their Dracio will die if this disease infects them.

It began somewhere in the far north of Sayari, with a very uncertain origin. Reports came in to the lower mainland from the northernmost island of Otok...an unactivated young man was seen sprawled in the snow, vomiting repeatedly and frantically clawing at the air as if some demon was attacking him, tearing at his own shirt. There was no one around him for a couple hundred feet. Only two days before, he had been simply a bit downcast, depressed in a way. An hour after the incident, he was dead.

Not long after this many other reports sprang up, at alarming rates; first Otok, then its sister island Saari, and an island more to the east, Boctpai. Hundreds were declared dead within the first two months of viral exposure. All went quiet after Boctpai's last death, and the world thought the epidemic was over, and had only taken place in the North.

They couldn't have been more wrong.

It took two weeks, but the virus traveled to the mainland. It has been wreaking unavoidable havoc there ever since. The South is growing in panic and fear as Sjúkdómur slaughters its way towards them. The activated Dracios demand answers, and want to end this. Everyone is struggling to find a cure that does not exist. Chaos reigns absolutely on Sayari.

The Dracios know that this is not a nature-borne epidemic...someone, or perhaps something, created it.

Are you an activated Dracio, vengefully searching for answers, clues to the death of so many people? Or are you living in fear, knowing you have not yet found your Dracio, waiting for the day you are infected?

@Ms. Bennington + Ollie: Ooh, I love the intro, but I have a feeling I won't be very active on the RP, so I'm not going to join. :V

I'll totally have to try and join that dragon/Human RP, Ollie/Bennington.. I've got some spare time nowadays, and I plan on getting 3-4 RPs for the time. (Erased Text, Secuestrado, First Generation, and possibly that one).

Thanks so much, guys! <3 We definitely worked hard on it. We also need a lot more people. x3 Hopefully it'll get off to a good start and not die. D'x

Insanity's Child - you should definitely join First Generation, if you haven't already. It's a semi-lit pokemon rp. ^_^
