I am opening one of Arivel's slots to the public. It will be very easy, just pm me this form:
- Code: Select all
Username:
Mare you will use: (if you have one. If not, describe what you will look for in a mare)
Why you want the slot:
About how long (estimate) will it take you to order the foal?:
What will you ask for in the foal from Arivel?:
Don't be afraid to put "I don't know" in the last one if you aren't sure. It is ok.

Technically any form of inbreeding is frowned upon but when it's really far out, I guess that's up to the owners?
I personally wouldn't breed anything closer than like 2nd or 3rd cousin?? ;/ now that I say that out loud it sounds horrible...but I'm seriously not digging that far out in relationships Quidell's family history killed me!!!! <3
I would say it's up to the opinion of the owner/s and how closely they are related.

Is it really? I mean if they share a great grand parent isn't it against rules?

Yeah that's why I added the question mark...I'm really not sure, I've heard it talked about both ways, I feel like if it's known inbreeding it's not allowed, but if it's so far out no one could even tell they were related then it's up to owners??? I dunno?

A lot of us already do that with Familyecho :3 In the first post of my thread you can see all my equids family trees and who is related to who and how; I also list their family on each post for identification, which many other users do as well.
Also I think someone long ago already started a familyecho tree for every equid, don't remember who though.

I don't thin it's allowed, I mean, if everyone was allowed to in-breed, there would be a massive tangle of breeding confusion o3o

Hmm, perhaps I should look into this *squinty face*
- On the inbreeding comment, perhaps there are consequences for inbreeding with equids? Like, foals from those pairings have less breeding slots, or can't breed at all, depending on the level of relation? It would be best to keep inbreeding out as much as we can, but in far cases maybe something like this could be put into place
