I love all the cats that break the rules haha! Maybe because I'm nothing like that, but at the minute I'm reading Yellowfang's secret and I really like it. I also liked Mapleshades little ebook, it was sooo sad!

Not everyone, but I'd say a huge majority including me, hate him.

I've hated him pretty much since after the third book. [I loved forest of secrets, made me cry] I just find him too.. perfect. I absolutely despise him and his perfect little world. eue
Plus the fact he's some almighty 'kitty pet' and people talk about him like some god just makes it worse. I mean, he broke a lot of rules by little some of the worst characters [Milly, Daisy] join the clan- kitty pets, rogues, etc. Though I admit some of them are pretty good. [No offence to any of you who like Milly and/or Daisy]

Alao, Firestar didn't really change anything in Thunderclan? Sure, the whole fire and the final battle prophecies, but besides that he was pretty much like any other leader? I'm not sure what the whole hype was about him.

I think firestar is a great leader he was just and brave to the very end.
He showed many cats that a kittypet could become a leader and that I think maybe is a bit of a moral there.
"even the weak may become strong." etc I may be taking this a little to seriously but I think it paved the way for kittypets to become warriors and such which is'nt necessarily good I think firestar was a bit too soft harted towards his kin but leaders all have there faults.
Not very many kittypets where after all warriors because
warriors born in the wild where still biased against them going there clans.
But Its amazing when many cats hated him when he first joined and then that hate turned into respect and love in sandstorms case whiich was unheard of for a kittypet.

firestar isn't my favourite cat, but i definitely don't hate him. 0-0
i do prefer him a lot more as an apprentice/warrior/deputy than leader
but i still don't get why most people hate them
