Abel is not the shy type, but not the type that would just jump out at you to greet you either. He is not particularly picky about the friends that he associates with, and is often taken aback when others ask him "Why are you friends with them? They're so rude!" or something of that essence. However, this is not to say that he does not have his preferences, as he tends to steer away from those who are overly aggressive, whether they are being nice or malicious. Abel is a very open person, and is willing to share almost anything about himself, especially to those he cares for. Despite this openness and friendly nature, he has trouble forming strong bonds with friends or hopeful romantic partners, simply because he believes he could never know the right "protocol" for romance or friendships, and many times has just let these bonds... fade out over time.
As an adolescent, Abel struggled with his sexuality a lot as despite his family being wholeheartedly supportive, not all of his peers were. This lead to various "phases" where he would struggle with his self worth for a period of time before basically forgetting that he had ever experienced issues with himself. Bringing this up will often embarrass him, and while he will, you can tell in his voice that he doesn't much like to talk about his childhood.
After dropping out of college where he studied for a degree in the culinary arts, Abel had his heart set on being a freelance artist, but soon found out that it was going to be easier said than done. One job at a local McDonalds later, and he found himself going back to school to resume his studies. Currently, he is finishing his last year in college.

I'd prefer romantic ships with roleplays, but depending on how well they go together I'd be okay with an art ship/friendly RPs. Bear in mind that while I do love roleplaying, schoolwork is still my first priority so I may take a few days to reply. This said, you obviously don't have to feel bad if you're not great at cranking out RP posts at lightning speed while you're rping with me.

The holiday season is quickly approaching, how do your plumerians prepare?
Varen::
He kinda forgets about the holidays until about a week before. He's completely oblivious to the Christmas decorations and has to struggle to find gifts. He's been planning right after the holidays for next year so that he can bring out the perfect gifts and not have to remember to get them.


What is your plumerians' dream wedding like?
Varen would love something with just his close friends... and lots of cake!


Does your plumerian like the cooler weather that comes with autumn and winter?
Varen loves autumn... football season... time to break out scarves and sweaters...
