I believe the only way to have a 'full shine'quid is to have a foundation. Shine quids can't breed with each other, and their foals aren't considered 'half' shine since they aren't event equids.

I Love surprise Breedings, though on most of my free rein I pick a gender.
But My Naveen was made before suggestions were allowed and Maz did an amazing Job with her <3
And Jupiter wasn't a full surprise as I picked his gender, but everything else was <333 More or less since I watched him being made /shot

I'll admit a good most of my breedings have traits, but a "No Suggestions" breedings would be cool c:

...So it has come to my attention that I need to do some reviewing, and as such:

For those that have slots to my equids, please PM me to confirm you will eventually use that slot. I will give until the end of April for everyone to PM me; for those that do not do so, I will PM you myself in the event you are not a fan club regular. In compliance with Horsy's latest rule, however, no response does not automatically mean forefitting a slot. This is purely for me so I may keep track of my equids' breeding slots.

No suggestion breedings can be good but I know when I send a breeding in, I almost always have at least 1 thing in mind, even if it is just to have a good mix of the parents. I think it'd be cool as an opening stipulation for a round of breedings but maybe not full-time

Note: to all who have slots with my WMEs (Tiberias, Euridyce, Cassander, Brittania) please PM me if you don't plan on using the slot so I can regulate them. Those who have one but have plans for it, carry on.

My Apollo is out of Kita's Shimmer. He's not a "half shine" but you can tell he's got shine in him

I personally love the idea of no suggestion breedings. Somehow they seem to be even more exciting than breedings with suggestions.
But on the other hand, when you are trying to get a dream WME they could be a bit hurtful. Breedings are hard to catch and you rarely find two parents who are looking similar enough to get your dreamy without requested traits.
Long story short: Both kinds of breedings are cool.

I agree with Bentley when it comes to basing a lot of the character off of certain traits, and I usually have at least one things that I really want passed down that I ask for.
I like to use the no suggestions option for UFA breedings though, or those that I can't really settle on traits for

Believe me I totally agree, I have a good few breedings where I have them totally planned out, like per hair if I could, but just seeing how free the artists are to create with no suggestions is fun! My Delphine is like that and of course the breeding I just ordered, but the one I accidently sent in first was one that I would need 4 suggestions for, to fit the character that I'm going for perfectly so it's a toss up for me lol!!

And I really set Belle's slots up like that because she was a semi custom, and Kita can attest I was a total dork picking things for her, I think I sent like 10 pictures lol! So I just wanted all of her foals to be totally free of specifics!

X amount of Non Sugestion breedings and X amount of what ever could work?
