which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
    Rosie, since she's literally bombproof.

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
Quince is quite friendly, loving anyone who has a carrot. Orca is a fairly shy colt, running behind his dam quickly while she (Lady) accepts anyone with the graciousness of an entertaining host.

do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?
I'd say plenty, but I haven't thought of them til now XD

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
Issa's run into fences trying to throw stubborn riders, so I'd say that would be it X3

what level rider do your horses need?
Issa needs a brave high level, while Rosie will take anyone from a beginner to champions. Lady needs a well off beginner, and Quince could use a nice intermediate. Orca, while not being old enough to ride, will need a high level simply because he's so nervous.

    who's your best jumper?
Orca (when he's grown) or Issa

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
Poor baby Orca's scared of almost everything, so probably him XD

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
Issa has a habit of bolting, bucking, and kicking without grain. Rosie will come right up to you. Lady will continue eating until you're up next to her, then will raise her muzzle from the grass to allow you to put her halter on. Quince has no boundries and will crowd you when catching whomever, including himself. Orca is nervous, there needs to be a lot of cooing and soft pats before you can put the halter on.

how do your tolters handle a new environment?
All would handle it fairly well except Orca, who'd well enough have a panic attack. Poor baby.

how do your mares handle weaning?
Issa would handle it terribly, as she grows attached to certain things. She would wean the foal herself, if allowed to, but would always try to stay near it. Rosie would handle it sort of well, whinnying and pacing at the gate when her foal would be taken away. Lady would allow it, but wouldn't like it. Standing at the gate of her pasture looking in the direction her foal went.

do your horses have any allergies?
    Nope c;

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
Issa would react fairly violently, striking out until she got used to it. Quince would adore the thing, happy to have a play buddy. And Rosie would snort gently at it and continue grazing.

    my tolters: africa [mare], mattoryo [stallion], hyperion [stallion], aragon [colt]. ;u;
i haven't really included aragon because he's still little.

which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
mattoryo because he's learnt that trailers mean getting a treat for being a good boy.

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
africa is the gentle sweetheart of the stables, both with horses and people. she is always the first to say hello.
mattoryo is curious but indifferent until you produce sugar cubes. then he can become a bit bossy unless you're firm with him. with other horses he is curious and social.
hyperion is notorious for being an opportunistic hair-biter and requires an experienced handler. he likes his own personal space and has little tolerance for anyone that invades it. he can become troublesome around people that he is unfamiliar with.

do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?
africa has some minor confirmation flaws.

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
mattoryo and hyperion were having their pictures taken for the stud section of the website. mattoryo's handler made the mistake of bringing him too close to hyperion in passing. hyperion got a few bites and scrapes in on mattoryo before he was brought under control again. poor mattoryo.

what level rider do your horses need?
africa can be ridden by beginners. she is patient and trustworthy and often used in a riding program with people who have a disability. she has done the trails a thousand times and can bring riders home if they are ever in a tight situation.
mattoryo needs a firm intermediate-advanced rider. if they aren't he will take advantage of them and go off on his own accord or decide he's not in the mood and come to a sudden stop. a few riders have gotten a face-full of dirt from his antics.
hyperion requires - and benefits - from an advanced rider.

    who's your best jumper?
hyperion is our class showjumper, though mattoryo is showing promise with the right rider.

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
    mattoryo ;n;

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
    africa comes when called.
mattoryo would follow africa. in africa's absence he would need to be lured in with sugar cubes.
aragon would follow mattoryo. the father and son pair actually get along quite well.
hyperion will come if there is someone familiar.

how do your tolters handle a new environment?
besides hyperion, who needs familiar, experienced people around him to settle, they would handle it well.

how do your mares handle weaning?
as sweet as she is, africa has a hard time and becomes frantic when she is initially separated.

do your horses have any allergies?
    nope ;u;

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
    africa doesn't mind them.
mattoryo, after a bit of sniffing and pawing, would try and play with them.
aragon would likewise be curious like his father and try and engage in a game.
hyperion would snake his neck out at them if they got too close and snap at their tails.

    hyperion is a butt. ;u;

@cougie - thanks for the shout out! It's really no problem helping out :)

I got 4 tolters in 2 days O.o (two babies ^^) which brings The Wedgewood to eight total, all of which have leg barring! My life is perfect lol

The Wedgewood totlers: Corvo(Prince of Ravens, stallion), Antilles(stallion, new), South(mare), Siamese(mare), Leona(new), Tarnish(colt), Onasi(colt, new), Fionn(colt, new). I'll be leaving out the foals out of the questions.

which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
Corvo is probably the most relaxed and well behaved of the group, though none of them have problems with trailers. He's really hard to frighten too

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
Corvo is a puppy. He loves to be pet by anyone and anything and he is very friendly. Once you upset him once however, that memory tends to stick with him and he won't hate you, but he'll ignore you since he didn't seem to like him
South is the other end of the spectrum. She is very aggressive toward new horses and can't be left unsupervised around foals because she tends to pick on them. With humans, she is usually curious and behaves, but is stand offish
Antilles doesn't give a care. He doesn't have friends. If you pet him, so long as it's not interrupting his day, you'll be safe. As for other horses...well...

do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?
South had bow legs as a foal before having it corrected. Otherwise, no

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
Corvo was attacked by a moutain lion while on a trip at the Rockies. He has a plethora of scars on his flanks, belly and shoulder, but none were very deep, thankfully

what level rider do your horses need?
Corvo is very forgiving and compensates for his rider's level, tho he functions best with at least an intermediate level rider
Antilles needs and expert since he is very good at ignoring instruction and hates repeating things
South needs a firm grip and someone beyond beginner since she loves to take off
Siamese works best with intermediate as she is very skittish and needs a confident rider
Leona is very relaxed and actually prefers beginners because she knows she doesn't have to work as hard

who's your best jumper?
Antilles. He is wicked agile and enjoys showing off, but you wouldn't know it because he acts so calm and collected

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
South. She hates water and has horrible balance

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
Corvo comes when you call him
Antilles will only come in when he wants to. He's impossible
South needs urging on with food of some kind
Siamese will follow Corvo or South
Leona will follow Corvo or Antilles, which means she is sometimes impossible XD
The colts will follow their mothers or Corvo

how do your tolters handle a new environment?
They have to check everything out
Siamese tends to follow Corvo or South around for comfort.
Antilles just waits for them to tell him what they determine lol

how do your mares handle weaning?
Siamese doesn't handle it very well
South was frustrated her first time, but she doesn't ever miss them much when they are gone

do your horses have any allergies?
Antilles is lactose intolerant, which meant he had to be bottle fed
Onasi is allergic to bees and cats

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
Corvo would have to say hello and might end up nosing them gently depending on their reaction
South would have to sniff it and then probably ignore it
Leona doesn't care much about things that are smaller than her unless they make annoying sounds

which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
I considered it to maybe be Margo but she can easily spook so I went with Moose. He is a pretty chill guy and doesn't mind change.

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
Woodkid is the friendliest horse on the farm. He loves new horses and people a like. He is always the first to greet anyone.
Sabine in not very welcoming to new comers. She isn't mean she just keeps her space from anything new and ignores them.
MewMew straight up hates new horses, mostly new mares. He doesn't mind new people though, as long as they aren't trying to make him work.

do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?
MewMew is over weight.
Maverick has a very bony sharp withers

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
Thankfully we haven't had any injuries yet. Unless you consider MewMew being sprayed by a skunk.

what level rider do your horses need?
Margo is a good beginner horse due to her easy temper and her patients.
MewMew is stubborn and has to be worked so is better if a more advanced rider rides him.
Mable is best for intermediate/advanced only. She likes to fast and needs a confident rider who can take control easily.
Waldo is a very well rounded horse. Any level rider can ride him because he does not shy and listens well for the most part.
Moose is another well rounded horse. Any level rider can ride him due to his easy going attitude. He is a good confidence booster.
Romanses is under training at the moment and is best to be ridden by advanced only.
Sabine is not the best riding horse at all. She doesn't like people.
Midnight can be ridden by confident beginners only and any other higher level due to his speed and hotheadedness.
Maverick is a good intermediate horse. He doesn't like to turn certain ways so is a good horse to help learn how to train a horse.
Autumn A Blaze is a bit pushy but with the right rider can be ridden by any level.
Sky is 100% advanced rider only. Anyone at a lower level may just end up on the ground.
Beaufort is a sensitive horse to the point you don't need a bit for him. An intermediate rider is best for him because of this.
Ira isn't ridden because she is blind.
Saturn probably shouldn't be ridden but if he is it is advanced only. Just like with Sky you will probably end up on the ground.

who's your best jumper?
Hmmm probably Mable or Waldo.

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
Margo for sure. She hates water so that would probably crossing the line completely.

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
Majority of them are easy to catch except for Midnight. During certain times of the year, like summer, he has to wear a horse collar which makes it easier to catch him.

how do your tolters handle a new environment?
Pendragon is probably one of the top horses that doesn't take well to new environments. He probably will never leave the farm. Ira would probably do well but with her blindness we like to keep her on the farm cause she knows the farm. So far everyone else seems to take well to change.

how do your mares handle weaning?
Margo hates weaning. She loves her babies. Each and every single one.
Mable doesn't mind it because now she doesn't have to worry.
Sabine welcomes it! It's like having a tick removed.
Autumn A Blaze doesn't like it to much but doesn't get as upset as Margo.
Sky is was a brood mare before she can to the farm so she is use to it.
Ira doesn't like it much and can panic a little bit. We think it might have to do with her blindness some.

do your horses have any allergies?
Megara seems to be allergic to dust. She sneezes a lot.

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
Depending on if the dog is barking or not Margo would freak out. The barking would probably spook her.
MewMew with all of his curiosity would probably investigate when the animal was.
Saturn would probably aggressively chase the dog off.

I'll be using all of my babies; Bran, Sierra and Balios.

which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
. Bran is so chill he would walk in with a scarf over his eyes and stand there for you forever.
. Balios takes after his father and, even at his young age, he is very trusting and would walk on easily.
. Sierra is pretty nervous about it, and needs some encouragement, so she would be the worst.

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
. Bran would probably fall asleep after checking for treats (he knows about pockets), new things don't worry him.
. Balios loves new people and horses, and he'll nuzzle and poke his nose at either. He likes new friends.
. Sierra is quite wary and doesn't warm up to new people or horses easily. She probably won't like you.

do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
. Eh, Bran's days of riding have left him lame before, and he got an abscess in his hoof once.
. Balios is a baby, so he hasn't acquired anything yet (though it might not be too long, since he's a bit silly).
. Sierra has a nick on her left cheek where she banged her head on the fence once.

what level rider do your horses need?
. Bran is a horse for all ages. He can perform the tölt and flying pace like a pro, but can also be suitable for beginners and novices.
. Balios can't be ridden yet, but he would be for more novice or experienced riders, I'd imagine.
. Sierra is only for the most experienced rider, as she's quite sensitive.

who's your best jumper?
Sierra is pretty dang good at it, and I reckon Balios will be a nifty little jumper when he gets older.

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
Mm, probably Sierra (she's so nervy), but I think Balios wouldn't like it much either.

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
. Bran is a cheeky little thing and will give you a run for your money, unless you have a treat of course!
. Balios loves attention and always come to the gate before you've even called him.
. Sierra will stand where she is and watch you until you get to her, so sometimes it's a bit of a walk to get her.

how do your tolters handle a new environment?
. Bran is cool with whatever you throw at him, the most hell do is look at things.
. Balios is curious about everything and will explore until there's nothing left to see.
. Sierra doesn't like them at all and often makes excuses to shy at things.

how do your mares handle weaning?
Sierra is pretty good with it, though she is quite attached to her first foal.

do your horses have any allergies?
None of them do.

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
. Bran likes them and often follows them around and blows in their faces.
. Balios chases dogs playfully and plays with them.
. Sierra doesn't particularly like them. I think once she even kicked out at our resident dog.

which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
Mythias: he's so laid back that it wouldn't phase him.

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
Mythias loves practically everyone, so he'd be fine if anyone new came along.
Belle would watch them silently for about three days to try and judge their character before even approaching them.
Night would be too distracted by his hoard of shiny things to care, as long as the newcomer didn't try to touch them.

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
Someone once put Night's halter on too tightly, and he pulled on it and cut his chin.

what level rider do your horses need?
Mythias prefers beginners; he likes to take things slow
The level of Belle's rider doesn't matter, as long as she likes them.
Night needs an experienced rider to keep him from getting distracted by shiny things XD

who's your best jumper?
Belle, because she's such a perfectionist

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
Probably Belle

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
Both Belle and Mythias are fairly easy to catch.
Night is a nightmare.

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
Belle: "What is that and why is it covered in mud and running around everywhere? Disgusting ;A;"
Mythias: "Oh that's pretty cool."
Night: "Stay away from my tHINGS D:<"

Doing some line updates and a couple of breedings for sure. Possibly an adoptable before I go do some more work on the archives :)

which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
That would most likely be Seer; he's too laid back to put up a fight.

pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
Dakota's a bit wary around new people, but she's still friendly nonetheless. As for horses, it depends on if she can tolerate them. Her patience is very short, so it doesn't take much for them to get on her bad side.

Seer absolutely loves attention, so he's pretty good around new people. It's the same for horses, although sometimes he can annoy them with his over-friendly attitude.

Ember doesn't mind new people, and she won't give them much attention either. It's absolute chaos when she's around other horses, however, as she often starts fights and intentionally makes enemies. Obviously, her social skills need some work.

do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?
Romeo has more prominent withers than usual, and Ember has trouble keeping her head down when she's being ridden.

what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
The majority of Ember's injuries are because of her frequent fights in the pasture. Most of the time she'll come back with bite marks or scratch wounds.

what level rider do your horses need?
Marco needs are particularly advanced rider since he has a tenancy to buck if you don't command him properly.
Romeo's fine with a moderate rider, but he can get a little bit quick. You'll need to half-halt him often and keep him focused.
Seer can be ridden by any level, but beginners may have a bit of trouble getting him to move.
Dakota doesn't appreciate being beaten with a crop, so she needs a rider that can use their leg properly. Preferably of moderate level or above.
Ember is pretty tolerant when she's being ridden, so riders of all level can use her. However, you'll need to keep her away from other horses in the ring.

    who's your best jumper?
It's a tie between Marco and Ember. While Marco has more experience and training, Ember has slightly better form and better temperament.

which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
Probably Minnie, she is a foal after all.

how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
You'll have to sneak up on Marco, or else he'll bolt the moment he sees you coming.
Romeo's like Marco, but he'll mess with you as you're trying to catch him. He thinks it's just a big game and won't take you seriously at all.
Seer's pretty good about it, and he'll even approach you sometimes.
Dakota might be a bit angry at first, but she'll calm down quickly and let you take her.
Minnie doesn't mind when you come to get her, she's pretty friendly around people.
Ember can be a nightmare around other horses, so she's usually kept in her own private field. It's pretty easy to catch her actually, as long as she doesn't spook.

how do your tolters handle a new environment?
Marco's pretty adaptable, although he'll be scared at first.
Romeo likes to venture out of him comfort zone, so he'll be fine.
Seer's too lazy to even care, he'll just look around and explore the area.
Dakota often becomes intimidated around new things, so she'll freak out.
Minnie will look for her mother and stick by her.
Ember will officially declare the area hers and pin her ears back if anyone approaches her. Aggression is her way of expressing fear, so she'll probably be a bit feisty until she gets used to it.

how do your mares handle weaning?
Dakota will assume the worst and become frantic over the loss of her foal. It's best to leave her alone for a while afterwards.
Ember's never had a foal before, considering that she'd probably shred any stallion that comes near her.
Since Minnie is a foal, she'll miss her mother greatly and call for her even after the process is over.

do your horses have any allergies?
Minnie's allergic to pollen, so she'll sneeze a lot in the springtime.

pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
Ember would be fearful at first, but after realizing that the animal is much smaller than her, she'll just be curious.
Romeo would carefully examine it for a moment before attempting to play. He'd be extremely exited about his new little friend.
Seer, being the lazy butt that he is, wouldn't give it too much thought.
