I too have to correct my teachers. I find it so annoying when they use ? instead of..
I realized this sentence was odd...
im basically never on, so if you wanna with trade me or if you message me, be prepared to wait a while for a response. this account is first and foremost a personal archive for sentimentality's sake as it was a big part of my childhood.

Why you want to join: I loathe bad grammar. I've always had a knack for conventions; I've gotten 100% in the conventions part of my school assignments for as long as I can remember, and it really annoys me when others appear to not make an effort. If you can't spell, or you don't know the difference between "to" and "too", no one will take you seriously. Even if I'm texting (which is not often,) I spell everything correctly out of habit.
Anything else? On Fanfiction.net, when I beta-read for others, my strong point is grammar and spelling correction.
(Possibly) Back after a long hiatus!
If you have any questions or need help, feel free to ask me, I'm always happy to help!

See, I can't spell to save my life, but it's really not that hard to use spell check. Then there are the stupid annoying people who spell things wrong on purpose, thinking it makes them cool. -_- "lolcat speak" is for lolcats, not you.

Chat speak makes my brain hurt. D: I always have to sit and stare for the longest time before I finally figure out what they're trying to say.

I completely agree, it doesn't matter if you can spell or not, spell check is there for a reason, it's not just for fancy.

Chatspeak is one of the worst things you can use-for those who don't understand it, it's not really fair, people could be slagging us off, we wouldn't know!

Eg: Chatspeak person says "ppl liek U maek meh sick"

Why you want to join: Bad grammar makes people look silly, and like they haven't had a proper education, in my opinion. It really bugs me when people use it a lot.
Anything else? No, I don't believe so.

Exactly... which is why it hurts me to say, "Where are you going next period?" I feel so icky xP

I actually did not know that periods were also called 'full-stops' until I started using CS. At schools here, that is what we were taught to call them.

Why is it that people can't listen when you try to correct them? I tried to tell my friend that she was using the wrong form of 'there' on her homework today but instead of fixing it, she flips out on me. -.-"
