I don't know if this has already been discussed but, what do you guys think of the theory of Jerry and Rick still being in a simulation?

Honestly I think they're out of the simulation by now. There's just been so much going on and such huge events that it would take an incredibly large and powerful simulator to run it all without crashing. I doubt hardly any creatures have that kind of technology, and even if they did, I'm sure Rick would be able to outsmart them like he did the first time. He always knows when he's in a simulator, I doubt this time would be any different if he were in one.

this is true, but i also doubt that the writers would have brought the plot point any further than outside the episode, if that makes sense. there's been pretty much no evidence to show that they're still in a simulation. plus, if they were, i think that whoever wanted them would have received whatever information they were looking for by now, therefore no longer having any need for rick and jerry, probably killing them or releasing them. it'd be a waste of time to keep the two after they got what they wanted. and, if they were still in a simulation, why bother keeping jerry alive? to convince rick he's not in a simulation? it certainly didn't work the first time, and i don't think it'd work anytime soon.
