How do you approach someone if asking about a commission you've been waiting for for a long time? At what point does it get too long? Do you ever get upset with them; if they don't have a reasonable excuse; or do you just politely ask for a refund?

Well, I'm actually in that pickle as well. I've payed for a certain amazing artist on here, however she appears to have forgotten about my commission. When confronting her politely over PM, she admitted so and seemed quite rude in her replies.
It's as if she's looking down on me! And it's truly frustrating.... I don't know wether I should wait and hope that she would actually finish it, (which I highly doubt by now) or demand my refund back...
She was very nice at first, however treats me very poorly lately as if I have done something bad, which I don't believe I have. I never even bothered her about my order until a few months later as I noticed her doing other commissions and asking for commissions! So I truly feel very upset over this... And I don't know what to do.
Should I just let it go?

I'm still selling characters here. I've only been able to sell one character after around 2 months, so I may consider lower offers than the prices listed on all of them. I've also added three new characters, so even if you've already checked out the sale, you may be interested in some of the new ones. I'm accepting CS pet offers on Aiden, Unnamed 2, Unnamed 3, and Unnamed 4 (I'm only interested in Advent List pets and up though).

I also still have my art contest going on here. I've only had a few entrants after over two months, so there I doubt there will be much competition for the prizes and all top 3 prizes have list pets in them.

If they don't want to draw exactly what you want (Pose-wise); due to a lack of ability or just personal preference; do you still get them to try; or just have your character drawn in a different pose?
I tend to message them politely after a few months, and then if they dont reply I'll cancel the trade after a few more months & pms. If theyve accepted the trade early though I do get annoyed, been waiting more than a year for some that artists accepted the trade for. I have no idea how to go about those, they dont respond to pm's and CS mods never got back to me
