which of your tolters are most comfortable with getting in a trailer?
That would be Kedai. She's the most level-headed of my tolters.
pick three horses, how friendly are they to newcomers? (both horses and people)
Frank, Destoroyah, and Batter.
Frank absolutely adores newcomers and is extremely friendly to them.
Destoroyah is aggressive and flighty, but he can warm up after growing used to a presence. This takes much, much time and dedication, however, and his flighty responses make him a suitable racer if the rider can keep his aggression in check.
Batter's friendly, and often gives people a chance, but he holds newcomers at arms length until he comes to trust them. Then he becomes, like his name, a bat out of hell in the best way possible.
do any of your tolters have any conformation flaws?
Destoroyah has a severe Roman nose, and Batter is a fair bit squat. Murdoc's a bit long, but other than them, they're pretty okay.
what's the worst injury one of your horses have had without going into too much detail?
Destoroyah freaked out after another tolter got too close to him while he was in his stable. He lashed out, and since the other tolter was not in the stall with him, only succeeded in giving himself a couple nasty pulled muscles.
what level rider do your horses need?
Destoroyah, Murdoc, and Batter all need high-level riders due to their stubborness, temper, or attitude, in no particular order. Kedai's good for lower-or-middle level, and Frank is especially good for beginners.
who's your best jumper?
Destoroyah.
which of your tolters would be most scared to cross an icy lake?
Frank, definitely. Frank balks at almost all water larger than his trough, a creek, or a swimming pool, so if he knew there was water under there, he would balk. Even if he DIDN'T know there was water, the slick surface would freak him out.
how difficult are all your individual tolters to catch when they've been turned out in the pasture?
Kedai comes when she's called, and Frank's bound to jump a bit away from you, but is as easy to call in as Kedai.
Batter is a bit tougher than those too, but a fair bit of clapping, stomping, and snorting from your end of the line will get him in: he loves to push buttons.
Murdoc and Destoroyah are absolute PAINS to catch, with Murdoc making you chase him around for no shorter than fifteen minutes.
Destoroyah only comes in when he wants to come in. He makes sure of that.
how do your tolters handle a new environment?
Frank gets a bit antsy, but he handles it well once his curiousity kicks in. Batter is similar in that regard, minus the antsiness.
Murdoc takes a definite shine to new environments in the form of seeing how much destruction or irritation he can get away with.
Destoroyah handles them okay, so long as there aren't any lifeforms that he doesn't know or trust there.
how do your mares handle weaning?
Kedai, being the only mare, handles it well. She can be a bit clingy to her foals, but that's just her style.
do your horses have any allergies?
Nope, not really.
pick three of your horses, how would they react to sheepdogs near them?
Frank would try to engage the sheepdog in play.
Murdoc would terrorize it.
Kedai would make sure it's not uncomfortably close before disregarding it and going about her business.
THIS WAS TOO FUN.
