^ Hello! It’s always fun to hear from people new to the game. Lmk if you need anything, I can put together a starter package for you (fruits, a few bells, some crops, ect.)

You go to the airport and talk to the dodo working at the desk. Most people travel by dodo code, which is a temporary code. You’ll see it in the options if you play with the menu.

If you have people coming over, be sure to make sure you have nothing on the ground in leaf form or turnips just laying about (unless you’re trading of course). 95% of the community is amazing but there is always a couple jerks in every community. If you need to, surround the items with a fence before opening your gates. Other players can only touch items in leaf form and fallen items (Bells, turnips, mushrooms, ect.), so surrounding turnips or leaf items with a fence prevents them from getting to it.

Gosh, I just got guilted into selling an item to one of my favorite villagers. Really didn’t expect that new dialog lol, it’s nice but also sad I have to wait a day to get it in the mail again haha. :”D

So psa I guess? If you have something in your inventory you don’t want to give up and are easily guilt tripped, don’t interact with a villager if they run up to you.

I'm guessing that you can also just drop items that you're not willing to part with before you talk to said villager. ^-^ I'd imagine that would work, anyway, since it would no longer be in your inventory while you're talking to them?

Oh yeah, that could work! Assuming I have room near me when they run up to me anyway lol.

Hello everyone! I was finally able to buy myself a switch lite and ACNH, so I just started my island a few days ago! I'm up to my first campsite villager being invited, nice to meet you all! How do we go about inviting people to our islands and going to others islands? I wanna start trying it out soon ^^

I think kapp’n appears after project kk. Redd I think requires a certain amount of items donated to the museum before he appears. Not sure about Brewster but I imagine he requires the art exhibit to be unlocked? There is a bunch of guides on the exact requirements if you google them. There is even a guide on how to get to three stars to complete project kk.

Redd is after 60 donations

iv read diffrent things on brewster but most agree one of each thing donated (1 fish 1 bug 1 fossil 1 art)

if you want any fruit or veg just ask (they can be planted for more)

I believe Brewster also needs a creature found by diving donated to prompt the dialogue about him btw! I'd donated everything but that and after I donated one Blathers mentioned him

I only got into terraforming and generally putting effort into my island layout after the update and I am now encountering sooo many problems I never thought I'd have, like I have such a cute heart lake but navigating around it is such a pain in its current spot, and so is my house. I've already moved it three times but might have to do it again 😭 it's just so annoying remaking it

Man, Animal crossing Is my happy place. I have very fond memories of playing Animal crossing New leaf with my dad, and when New horizon came out I knew I had to get it, and I recently got New leaf again as a birthday present from my best friend, So I'm reliving a piece of my childhood c: It's one of the only games I don't rage at haha

Are Wallopoids and Squeakoids rarer than the other gyroids, or am I just unlucky so far? I've gotten pretty much every other kind, save for the Brewstoid, and even duplicates of some, but those two still elude me.
