Favorite type of RP: Any wolf or Warrior Cat role-play.
Roleplay sample: The sound of the angry wolves had died down. He had done it; he was free. The Clan that had bound him for years no longer had him under its control. He wouldn't ever have to answer to an alpha ever again, nor worry about what would happen to him every second of his life. His Clan was gone, dead to him in his mind, but along with them went his family. Exile had struck him as a gleaming blade, but not one that would strike him down, but one that would lead him through his new life. As he bade his Clan farewell, he wished them to a life full of Hell.

I gazed down at my reflection in the river. My crystal blue eyes stared up at me. How long have I been here?

the moon had just faded from the sky, but I wasn't in the den I called home. My nose took a whiff of the air and the smells of my fellow packmates were easily distinguished. Must not have wandered to far a smirk crossed my face a little to quickly. My dream was nagging at my shoulder, I tried pushing it back but it tugged from its' cage blurring my eyes for a moment. All I could was the wolf in my dreams, his stature perfectly etched into my mind. He had golden fur and was very large and muscular, perhaps one of the strongest fighters she had ever seen. The distinguishing feature he possessed was a long scar running between his eyes. How can I forget his face? these dreams had honestly started to get to me. Realization of how worried the Alpha must be and how much the pack needs to be protected by the second-in-command pushed me to strike out my path toward the camp. Hunger gnawed at my stomach like a bear clawing at a tree, making it so his territory was marked. Why not? a smile tugged at my lips. Between the busy days of helping around the camp, I hadn't had time to run free and hunt. Old instincts took over my every movement. They won't be worried about me if I bring back food I crouched down making sure my tail was kept low. A rabbit had been wandering here early, probably after the soft grasses it constantly feasted on. It's scent was overwhelming now. My eyes darted around and spotted the snow white coat of the rabbit. The muscles in my hind legs bunched and I sprang toward him and gripped him in my teeth. Blood was pooling beneath the rabbit. The freshly caught rabbit tasted like liquid gold, so to speak. The difference between a rabbit carried several miles to the camp could not compare to the fast of this.

don't expect quality or quantity from me at the moment, because all i want to do is play with language. i don't even have a plot in mind. i just need something omg HALP. i'm honestly open to almost everything except romance, because i'm amazingly good at avoiding romance, and i'd prefer humans/humanoids because i've never really gotten into the roleplaying animals thing?? anyways, it'd be short, like low-semi lit [200-300 words max] and kind of a one-two posts a day thing. please someone. pleaseeee.

Is there a specific situation you wanted to practice?
Like emotions, certain traits, normal character in a totally not normal situation, etc?

normally i have crazy things i want to mess around with, but i don't for some reason. nope. i can roleplay anything from a cheerleader to a tin can, though the latter would have to be involved in a pretty interesting plot.

*slowly brings up roleplaying inanimate objects, again*

Okay super long onexone idea coming up, but the gist is I've been trying to get into more emotional writing lately, like looking more at how things affect people and what not. Less action, more reflection I guess you could say. Anyways, would anyone be up for a slightly different styled roleplay involving this?

Basically what I had in mind is a tale of two best friends, older women who have lived their lives [to the point where they're possibly even at the age of being grandmothers] and known each other for most of it. The catch would be one is dying. Whether it be a form of cancer, dementia, a stroke, anything really- though what the illness is might affect the plot a tad. Now the ill woman has lived a good life, had children, had grandchildren, grown rich to a reasonable amount, but things aren't all as happy as you'd think. Her family had grown distant over the years, too busy with their own lives, and only now are trying to make amends for the sole purpose of getting a larger cut of the will [I kind of would figure that the woman isn't stupid, and she fully realizes her offspring's true intentions]. The roleplay itself would basically center around not only the woman's thoughts and emotions going through this, but her friends as well. Possibly even them reminding each other of all the adventures they had when they were younger. If the illness was dementia, it could be something more like the friend trying to remind the woman of her life and what not. Some variations could be instead of a friend, the old woman is relaying all her stories to a grandchild. Perhaps one their parents sent to appease the woman to get a bigger cut of the will, as I mentioned before, who doesn't really want to be there at first but slowly grows to respect their grandmother and all she's done. It could even be a stranger this woman is talking to, one that she just happened upon and wants at least one person to know all that's happened in her life before she leaves it.

I'm thinking that the story could start off with the woman at her current age, but once she begins telling stories, that's what the rp really is about, and from there we could divide up characters and play it as a regular roleplay would go, jumping back to the present for commentary from our respective characters and what not. Sort of like the Princess Bride in that aspect, if anyone's seen it. Next to that I don't mind who I play in this, whether it be the woman or the friend/stranger/grandchild, but for this spefic plot I'd really love someone who doesn't mind a whole ton of preplaning. Or at least enough that we gather a basic storyline for the woman's [and friend's if thats her chosen companion] life. It would kinda be cool if after all is said and done, we could edit this to become a story even, but that's not really required.
