@all
hey guys! i was just thinking about potential future mates etc in my skulk, and i was just wondering opinions about how you guys are going to handle (if you've even thought about it) the fact that loads of different species of fox make up the skulks? like are you going to have different species of fox be able to breed together even though they wouldn't really be able to in the wild? it was just a thought that crossed my mind and i wasn't sure how to tackle it/ how realistic we were being with this sorta stuff c:

most of the pictures don't list what species the foxes are, so i dont think it's a huge problem c: a lot of fox colors (read: fox morphs
i need to shut up about this obsession) are still red foxes, they're all able to breed even though they look differently. foxes have a lot of subspecies. i think the real divide is when they are totally different species, not just subspecies (for example, a fennec and a red fox wouldn't work)... although i wouldn't sweat about it! if you'd like, you could have cross-species kits be infertile or have a high death rate?

what about One with Eye of Amber or One with Eye of Willow? because it seems youre leader has heterochromia!

...Does anyone want to have my skulk as neighbours?
They're the Dazhouzii tis Kieba or DtK.
They're honour-obsessed and have a pretty complex polytheistic religion, and love languages.
Whatever your skulk is like, they'll probably still end up being the awkward neighbours.
All my borders are open.
They're in a rainforesty area, but I'm fine with there just being a gradual fade out and maybe a few dozen neighbours before any other clan starts if you don't actually want a rainforest starting directly on your border! A quite cool idea, I think, would be to have the rainforest fade into a sort of environment that often ends up by it, so wetlands, farmland, or mountains, or even something that's just normally fairly close like pampas or grassland? But I don't care if you don't follow that and want to be neighbours!
The South's swampier than the North, although I don't really mind if the swampier bit actually reaches the border or not, and there's a dirt track that leads up to one of the borders- I'm intending it to be a dead end, but it doesn't matter if it's not- though it could develop into tarmac or whatever else. Again, having a gap is fine if you don't want a random dirt road right on your border. There's a stream too, but it goes underwater and into swamps and whatever so it just disappearing for a while wouldn't be too weird, and, again, I really don't care if it's a border, in a gap, or where it is.
I'd rather any neighbouring skulks not be right next to any towns or whatever, because my skulk's got a fairly remote village in their territory and having a town too close would kind of clash (although saying you're fairly close to a town or city is okay, imo).
I don't really have any other specifics about the territory that would affect borders.

my skulk is open for neighbors!
they live in a very dense, lush forest, but not a rainforest like yours. would that work?
if they do become neighbors, obsidian will probably try to be too close with them, and maybe even try to push the insect-worship of her skulk onto them xD
