Ideas so far for the comic name:
- Jelbkafrod (this is the setting where the comic will take place)
- Soil (there are lots of territory themes, with events happening on a given country's soil, etc.)
- Something to do with war/peace/conflict (themes of this are also present)
- I'm open to suggestions, too, if my initial description of it prompts any ideas!

Hm, personally I think Soil might be a good choice?
It sounds so raw and gritty... Though since it's such a simple title it could just be a comic about a wayward sedimentologist, so if it were me i would probably add a little more context, like Home Soil or Blood and Soil. Idk I like the theme tho

I'm having a hard time choosing between Jelbkafrod and Soil. They both sound really cool to me. I really dig the one word titles though, it leaves some mystery to it.

i agree with coelagirl, smth like 'home soil' immediately tells the viewer what it's about, 'Jelbkafrod' sounds cool but a new reader would see that word and be like 'what'

I'm actually wondering the best way to start a comic? Like, layout and everything. I suck at digital art, but I'm ok at Traditional, so that's how I draw stuff. I have an an idea for a new comic, but I am never sure why makes something like that enjoyable to read.
