Does anyone have tips on slimming Ratties down? Teyha is perfectly fine, but Delilah is OBESE. She has fat rolls all over her body! I try to take her out as much as possible so she can run around, but I have a very busy schedule during the week so I feel like its not enough to take her out for a long time on the weekends. Is there anything else I can do to help? I try to change food but then neither of my rats eat it and I don't want them to starve!

I'd say try Oxbow regal rat food. Even if they refuse to eat it at first, if they get hungry enough, they'll give in and eat it. Keep treats and snacks to a minimum unless they're fresh fruits and veggies(avoid avocado though since it's high in fat), lower their protien intake if possible

okay guys... so each humane society rat is 35 bucks (I called and all all spayed)
mom said If I can get 3 cages and buy them with my own money I can have them.

SunShy - If you get them used to each-other they can all go in the same cage. It's not hard to do so but getting 3 cages would be a pain.

If you go to PetSmart, they have a nice sized cage for like 80 bucks and it's pretty big. My two boys are in it and it could probably hold 4-6 more rats.

okay guys, I need to make around 300 bucks. well, then again, my birthday IS on the 17th..

Maybe do some extra chores? Or walk dogs around the neighborhood?
