This parent event would be much more fair for users like me who can't take part till they get home(yes I have cs，yes I can post but I can't view the Imagin links Becuse my phone freaks out like.nuts on any image upload sight other then deventart) and by then it's to late. My suggestion to make it better would be If you got just one guess pur kid，those who guessed right where then put into a raffle for the kid at the end of the time so some people cant cheat，see the right answer and copy it. it would make it more fair.on people who can't get on or are currently asleep. And if you wanted them.to remain short have it only last 24 hours，a full day，it should give some people more of a chance then having to miss out.

under other circumstances, i would completely agree with this. it would be unfair if, say, the whole adoption center was first-come first-serve and no one ever got the chance to adopt a walker unless they were in the right place at the right time. however, since asteria walkers is a primarily raffle-won center (where there are usually two chances per week for users to adopt), i see no issue with making a small event that rewards quickness and keen eyes every once in a while. as we've hit the one-hundred walker mark, i (again) see no problem with making five out of those one-hundred plus asteria walkers available to the quickest adopter. this valentines day is our first run-through with a competition like this, and we will be re-evaluating errors next time we do something like this. but making any variation of GTP litters raffle will not be my go-to fix. most likely, next time, we will have more artists available to participate and put in a set schedule for each kit (say, every 12 hours; which would be most manageable for myself).

like satyn said, i run on my own schedule; just like everyone else. i understand that not everyone is online at the same time as me, but that is neither my fault nor in my control. while i am always able to check posts and messages on my phone, my window to post images is very small (generally 1-2 hours collectively each day) and will grow shorter within the next several months. with that being said, it's in my own best interests to make sure that everything runs according to what's most convenient for me. and so, i have to make the most of what we have to work with, and do the most to keep everyone satisfied. you may not think it, but sifting through posts to add them to the raffle list (in the manner that i do with links and names, which is done to make it convenient for adopters to view) is extremely time consuming. it would take upwards of two hours to do what you're suggesting (if i understand correctly), by waiting twenty-four hours before making the raffle list and having to check every form and search for the users who guessed correctly. which would not be good for anyone.

so i'm sorry, but this would not happen anytime soon, there are simply not enough hours in the day for it. i don't mean to sound rude (honestly) but GTP and similar events/competitions will most likely always be first-come, first-serve. I would love to make everyone happy, but sadly that is impossible~

I don't want to cause any arguments or anything, but I'd like to state my opinion! Also, I apologize in advance if I sound impolite. >.<

I think that the way minette has organized this event is really good. Since there are multiple kits for the event, if each one was up for 24 hours, the Valentine's event would go on for 5 days. I get that Valentine's Day is a big holiday, but five days? Personally, I feel that it is too long.

The point that some people are not online when the kits go up is a good one, but I believe that having the Walkers up for a whole day would create a lot of work for minette. All the correct guesses will have to be found from all the forms (there usually are 40 or more submitted for raffle litters) and be put into a list for random.org, all in one day when normally the time frame for deciding winners is a week or so. It would mean a lot of time spent on CS, when I'm sure there are many things going on minette's life.

Also, there are plenty of chances for other people to get Asteria Walkers. The event walkers are usually UC or higher rarity, so it would make sense if it is more of a challenge to be able to adopt. I think that the challenge is part of the fun! I'm disappointed like I'm sure many of you are when you are ninja'd but if every Walker were easy to get, I don't think we'd enjoy the events as much.
