Just because the person has been online doesn't effect the chances, Hidden Abilities are still fairly rare. The only Pokemon guaranteed to have them are the Desert Resort Darmanitan, Dream World, and Dream Radar Pokemon.

I'll look again but 16 pokemon and no HA is a bad sign. The picture is filled out there isn't a question mark in the spot so according to it i should be able to find HA but I haven't.

I regularly hunt for ha pokemon in friend safari and it doesn't take THAT long to find a HA pokemon.

Actually, I remember finding a Protean Frogadeir with only two available Pokemon. It was a long time ago, and I didn't bother catching it, because even though it gives STAB to any move that's being used, it also opens up some problems for me. But you have to be patient. I've tried to hack eggs that hatch into Pokemon with good abilities and stats, and it's just as hard as breeding the eggs. A few times when I was trying to hatch a Mewtwo(don't start) I kept getting it with its HA, Unnerve, which isn't as useful as Pressure. It took me a lot of tries before I got the right Nature so that the personality value would give it the stats I wanted, plus the shiny factor, and the standard ability

^ I'll try again in a bit. I've had it glitch even with three pokemon, probably because I added first and they weren't on my "friend" list first.

Or maybe the chance of getting HA is lower in 2 pokemon safari.

Seems pretty decent to me, but it depends on which game you're playing. Cynthia's Pokémon are ~58.

Seems pretty good to me. Just make sure you have good move variety.

If you're playing Platinum, I recommend leveling up a bit more, the Platinum E4 is significantly stronger than D/P, plus they have different Pokemon, like Aaron's Yanmega and Scizor, Bertha's Gliscor and Rhyperior, Flint's Flareon, Houndoom, and Magmortar, and Lucian's Espeon and Gallade. These new Pokemon are really good at turning the tables
